This year :
Be ****ing nice to each other.

Lets just enjoy jagging 9th place this year, as our stepping stone to finals in 2015
Nah, there's gotta be 10 teams worse than us. As long as we are relatively injury free and with a pretty good draw..not making finals this year would be a fail.

I'd be really really disappointed if we finished in the bottom 6 again. Just as I'd be very pleasantly surprised if we finished in the top 6 and earnt a home final

Means somewhere between 7th and 12th and finals a possibility especially with a favourable draw

**** me I'm getting as toey as a virgin on their wedding night for this season to start

Missing the finals and not getting Waterman with a second round pick would be a failed year.

The higher we finish the more likely it becomes that we will need a first rounder for waterman

Agreed. From the little known of Waterman at this stage I don't think WC will get Waterman for a 2nd round pick if they make the finals. If WC were to miss the finals the silver lining for the season could possibly come in acquiring Waterman in the 2nd round. So, if WC look likely to miss the finals, I hope WC subtly go about fizzling the remainder of the season in order to give themselves a greater likelihood of finding that particular silver lining. Then the season won't be a waste, in my view. Missing the finals and also missing Waterman being had for a 2nd rounder would be a fail.

I actually don't mind Subi. As long as I can see 100% of the field and get to my seat easily enough (which is nearly always), then I'm happy. Even the beer and toilet queues I find to be exaggerated.

This post reeks of someone who hasnt been to jihad.

Its seriously like going from a shitty 70's 15" tv to a top of the range 60" edge lit led

There almost isnt a seat in the ground that doesnt have as good a view as the best seat at subi - park your car undeneath and take an elevator to your block.

You are out of the rain, almost zero wait for food or drinks or piss - tv screens everywhere so you dont miss a second, comfy seats

Subi is an antiquated crock of badly old fashioned designed poo

So much this. Etihad is probably the best stadium in the country in terms of comfort and convenience. MCG is still my favourite to attend because of the sheer size and atmosphere, especially when the crowd is over 50,000, but Etihad is a close second.

Can I rant how much I ******* hate that shit stain Sunday twilight timeslot? Always makes for crap viewing on the TV or in person over here thanks to the sun dipping down as well as having to wait until the last game of the round. Doubly worse with this shit stain having to wait an extra week leaving us with the most games packed into the least time this year.
They leave the best till last :)

GoEagles is a false prophet.
Ian Dargie brings nothing to the table.
EasternHills doesn't know as much as he thinks he knows.
Shred is the worst player nickname ever invented.
Churros are actually quite nice.

Go to hell. Do not pass go. Do not collect any churros.

It could depend on how vindictive North Melbourne want to be. We bid on McDonald this year, forcing then to use a first round pick to secure him. I wouldn't be surprised if they did the same to us with Waterman next year.

We will just have to finish top 4 so taking him would still be a huge bargain.

It's possible, but I think North Melbourne will be focused on their own list building rather than some perceived slight by WC in the past. That's why I believe North will take a professional and pragmatic approach to this rather than be vindictive and make decisions based on a grudge. If North aren't looking for a midfielder with their first pick, putting in a bid on Waterman is taking a gamble.

McDonald was worth what WC bid for him, so it wasn't about WC ****ing their shit up. If that turned out to be the case it may not have been intentional. Likewise, it's possible that some other club puts in a bid for Waterman, not to intentionally mess with WC but because they believe he's worth being taken at the price they bid.

Agreed

Clubs are too professional and draft picks too valuable for them to burn a pick on a player they don't want/need just to get revenge for some perceived slight. If north or any other club think waterman is better than any other player likley to be available by their pick then they'll put in a bid just like we did with McDonald
