They're getting a bit of the rub,

If we kicked straight it wouldn't matter tho!

Not using the umps as an excuse. We've tried hard but haven't capitalised. Plenty of time though.

God forbid WC get a home prelim though. Laughable.

Sorry to intrude, and I may be seeing things incorrectly, but when are the umps going to don the Eagles guernsey and make it official?

Umps are fine.

We've been atrocious. The only bad call was the deliberate

Followed by the multiple WC non-delibrate calls, the 50m penalty when the WC player stepped away from the returning ball, the illegal shepherd on Birch in the marking contest which was the 'point of emphasis' until now and a very skewed interpretation of holding the ball!

We would only be down by 31 points had those 50/50's been paid

Umpires were always going to be pricks, just your usual WA game. But if we had of beaten Port instead of playing insipid footy We'd be playing at the G and would have had a far more balanced umpiring situation.

We have just been shit and as frustrating as it is to watch the inconsistency of decisions, I think most other teams in the finals would be in front of us at the moment. Don't win finals if you don't have 22 players playing their role.

Yes there is no doubt that your boys are down in form at the present, but my view is that when you get the wrong rub of the umps early - I think it was 8 to 1 frees at one stage - players start to lose confidence and second guess themselves. Conversely the opposition sense they are getting the upper hand and play above themselves. The deliberate against Langford was an absolute disgrace and almost certainly a "crowd" free kick.

As I see it your boys are panicking a bit and playing well below what they are capable of - as if I needed to tell you that.

Half time could not have come too soon. They need to re-group and blokes like Hodge in particular need to come out very differently in the second half. It is a long way back, but if they can get within 10 points by three quarter time, maybe their finals experience will see them through.
