Nassib first active NFL player to come out as gay
Raiders DE Carl Nassib became the first active NFL player to come out as gay, announcing the news in an Instagram post Monday while pledging $100,000 to the Trevor Project.

I don think Portland would want him. Simmons needs the ball in his hands, he's a PG and in Portland the ball is always going to be in Dame's hands.

I think it suits both teams. Sacramento would have a marketable walking triple double whilst Fox would spread the floor for Philly and give Embiid more help. Fox hasn't played a meaningful game in his career and Simmons would be under zero pressure in Sacramento.

Now to be fair to Simmons
1 - Is he really obliged to play for Australia ? Pretty sure many NBA Players both American and Overseaa/European have rejected the opportunity to represent their country and
2 - He is coming off a very psychologically damaging playoff series, where has his teammates, coach, media and fans calling for his blood and is very very likely to be traded.
Emotionally and mentally, I don't think he would be much use to the boomers in Tokyo anyway.

Clippers have started the first two series down 2-0 and then just rolled 4 straight both times to take the series. I dont think that is happening this time.
