We have played with no intensity all year.

How do we train? with intensity?

Nah that would be too logical wouldn't it.

This mentality needs to be ingrained into the players so that it is 2nd nature.

Too many of our players cannot handle pressure.

Well I'm well and truly cooked, this club has finally broken me, to not be able to get the job done against melbourne to honour one of the greatest legends in tommy hafey is an absolute disgrace ! we the members deserve better we have saved , bailed out, propped up this club for the last 30 years . there are no excuses now, we have new a training ground new gym all the new equipment and what are we served up a massive load of tripe . we are an embarrassment to the league and ourselves . I have been a member for 25 years and a social / Maurice rioli club member for the last 10 years . but as much as it pains me I will not give another cent to this meek, soft, and pitiful club !!!!! Time for the players and coaching staff and administration to give 110%, for us members have on numerous occasions . And I have had a gutfull will not attend another game until I see genuine heart and pride in the jumper , which on today's effort appears a long way off . STICK THE FORK IN I'M DONE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The other thing with this side is that we have hard nuts like Vlas, Rance, Martin, Cotch, Morris, Maric

But then there is a big gap to standard level hardness footballers - guys like Delidio, Conca, Jackson, Hampson, Riewoldt, Griffiths, Foley

Then there's blokes in the 3rd category that are what I would term 'soft'. Houli, Grigg, Lloyd, Vickery, Ellis

Ellis has been the disappointment of 2014 and the fact that Vickery is in the soft list is damming of a tall player.

I think you can only afford to have 1 from the soft list in the team and a lot more in the hard nut list.

It's not that I have given up, I am broken , we get fed bulltripe and give 110 %. But when all you get is misery and heartbreak for 30 years and your 7 year old wanting to change teams , and doing all in your power to keep him a tiger it wears you down , This club has been a rabble for 30 years and all we want is some sustainable success not a patchwork Quilt of rejects and has beens showing no heart .when it looks like another bungled rebuild and you look like having to wait another 2, 3, or 4 years for some long term success . well it's just bloody hard to take !!!!

Watch every other club challenge and play consecutive finals, give hope to it's supporters.

Been a member since 2007. Uni student,already struggling enough for rent and bills. Still manage to buy a membership.

Hardwick didn't kick 9.20. I agree he's been ordinary this year but he was fine today, the Hampson/Lennon sub worked fine.

Agreed, but as a pretty level headed person who has previously defended Hardwick and the stability the club has, I'm now at the point of not caring. A week ago I would have been pissed if the club sacked him. Now I'll support the club in whatever decision they choose. This is not like getting smashed by Carlton in the first FTF game. They were a miles better side than us at the time. Not being able to get up and win against Melbourne, on a day remembering a club IMMORTAL is simply not good enough.

Thanks Ki2R, I respect your perspective. Believe it or not I have a 7 year old too. I'm trying to make it clear to him, I'm sticking to my team (as should he if he wants a roof over his head) through the best and the worst.

I actually think this year is a eye opener as to who can plat and who can't. Good news is, we have many rounds to try the guys in the 2's to see similar.
