I've had a nice long drive home, and even had the chance to ring 3AW and have a chat about Vickery along the way. I haven't read the whole thread, but like everyone I have a mixture of emotion about today.
We had 5 starters out today which hasn't helped. But, my real issue is with the following players:
1. Vickery - Has offered nothing. As per my call, when Ivan is due back in, Ben deserves a shot, Ty doesn't.
2. Newman- Looked slow today. If I had to choose between a kid like Gordon or him right now, if we are gonna lose to the dogs, I'd rather Gordon play.
3. Edwards - horribly out of form. Lloyd or Miles, give them a crack.

I'm not gonna lie, I'm not that pissed about it, because with the outs we had, I always thought the dogs were a show, and, this was that vintage game we drop, and regret late in the year. Even if we had of won today, we wouldn't have deserved it.
We have no outside run, and who'd of thought it. Play Jack at FF and, he kicks goals revolutionary stuff. I think we need to stop trying to make some players something they're not, and play them in their natural positions.

There are serious mental toughness issues with this team.

Round 1 - beaten by abblett and a bunch of talented kids.
Round 2 - played well before stopping and nearly coughing up the win
Round 3 - outplayed by a bottom 6 side half full of kids.

Bring on Friday night in front of a massive TV audience. There will be nowhere to hide for the purse carriers in this side.

75% of the side suffers from peaheartitus, and I think Grigg may be the host.

These results are always the best for the meltdowns.
I reckon it's actually the supporters who expect too much from what quite honestly is a pretty average list are actually the opposite to what they claim.
Those who try to look at things evenly do so because they realize where we are at. We aren't that good really.

We are miles off it and will get beaten in games likes this accordingly when we are off.

I reckon for the majority we play up to our level.First half today was rubbish,and yeah I agree the Riewoldt thing has been a disaster.
Just got to be honest with yourself about how good we are. It's not like Hardwick or the players are throwing a flag away.
