I'm just furious that I've managed to bugger up this year by picking the wrong premiums to start the year.
Hodge, Boomer, Pav and even to an extent Lids and Sam Fisher have been very, very dissapointing. Boomer and Pav in particular are shwoing worrying signs.

Now all the people already smashing me in the points department (who instead went with Purgoyne, Richo and Stevie J) will be able to pick them up on the cheap, and my god does it hurt

Yup. It is important that your premiums perform in the first two months. Otherwise it puts you a long way behind, plus when they start kicking into gear everyone else snaps them up.

Scored 2200 a couple of years ago and fell about 50 spots in ranking. But that was late in the year and in the top 200.

Scoring this early in the year is crazy.
