You know what gets me? Every time I have one of those really good days where I make a half-dozen or more buy-ins, the next day is necessarily shithouse.

Crap hero calls everywhere, reduced aggression, etc...just shit play all round. I remember seeing a video a while ago where Ivey says "no-one plays as well when they're stuck as when they're winning". I reckon I just might. :mad:

I think he means people dont play the same as when they are stuck compared to a heater or winning session, be it through tilt, confidence etc...

i.e some people may be more aggressive when stuck, which is good for their game. Others people may just play crap when on stuck and get into a bigger whole...

FWIW I think I play better poker after having a few great sessions compared to having to buck say, a 2 or 3 night losing streak at the casino...

I vent at halfstackers.
One of those days where you go 2BI up quickly and should probably stop but don't and end up 2BI down.
8 coolers involving 2 outers, 3 outers, flush over flushes to these halfstackers.
 
FML.

Played some .25/.50 NL on FTP and every moron is calling me down and hitting the most ridiculous draws. ****ing gutshots cracking aces... ugh. Pot it every street and they just call, call, call. Not a single raise, just calling stations.

Tired of that bullshit, and every single ****ing draw seemingly hitting me in the ass, so I move up to 2/4 and every time I raise some douche comes over the top. So I tighten up, and get no action on Aces and Queens. If you'd believe it. So finally a guy limps in, SB folds, I check the BB with J-6. Flop J-6-T. I bet, he raises, I move in for a little more. He calls. Aces. River A.

****. Last night I played great all night, and in about 45 minutes my confidence is absolutely shot, with about four buy ins down the drain. No wonder I take six months breaks.
 
Another pet peeve of mine:

Playing NLHE (as part of the 8-game mix), I fold top pair (J, Q kicker) after random 3-bets me OOP and then fires 2 near pot-sized bullets on flop and turn. Whatever, pretty standard spot against a random. 3 hands later, when said random busts, it becomes obvious to me that my laydown was very, very bad. So now, even though I won a bit for the session, all I'm thinking about is that other $100 I should have had from stacking the maniac.

He played like a nit through-out the limit games, so I had no way of knowing he was a maniac beforehand. But it still bugs me something shocking.
 
I'm playing a heads up razz sng on FTP, and as soon as I sit down this arseh*le goes off in chat. Calling me this, that. For no reason, really, I mean, I didn't even type anything. So I block him, and he's taking forever every turn. So I click chat back on, and it's like flooded with crap from this arseh*le. So I email support, and I'm like "I turned chat off, that's not the big deal, but this game took forever, cause he's abusing me for no reason every single hand."

So the first email back is automated outlining the steps to turn chat off, then the rep emails me and... tells me how to turn chat off. Which isn't the issue.

Damn it. They should just ban assholes like this for life (their IP's too), not just have them lose their "chat privledges".

I only get abusive when I'm on tilt after losing the third humungous pot in a row to some freaking river beat.

Yesterday's special: I have TT, playing 3/6 Euro 6max limit. It gets capped four ways preflop, and flop comes down JT6 with two diamonds. Flop gets capped four ways as well, and I start to worry about pocket jacks. But the aggressive raiser only calls my 3bet on the turn (with another guy coming along for the ride), so I'm good. River is the shitty 8 of diamonds, and I bet because I am a fish, and call the inevitable raise because I want to see the cards. Guy has K5dd - he took two to the face on every street, but probably had the odds once the flop came down because of all these other ******s coming along for the ride with whatever garbage they had.
 
I have no qualms with people tilting when they lose, but this dude just started up like hand one. It was ridiculous.

I was playing a tournament last night and hanging in pretty well. I get AQs and raise 4xBB, everybody folds except the BB who goes all in for slighty less than my stack. I'm a gambling man and sometimes you just have to hang on to your nuts and push it if you want to set yourself up for later. Plus, I had seen this guy making a move about 4 times previously with QJ, J6s etc. He seemed to be a compulsive re-buyer.

So, in it goes and villain shows KJ. Of course he jags a jack, but sometimes that's how these things go, I've got no issue with that. What sent me over the edge was the "thanks, fish" from the tool who was staking his whole tourney life on KJ. For ****s sake.

Went deep in a 10EUR rebuy, but lost an opportunity at a crucial moment. Flopped a set and turned a bout, and while considering whether to flat call or raise the chipleader's bet I timed out with no warning. Stupid Microgaming software. That would have probably put me in the tournament chiplead. :mad::mad:

Picked up AA four times in the evening and managed to lose more chips with it than I won - once to something ******ed like J6o AIPF. Ended up busting out with a ******ed bluff.

A3hh in the BB with 10bb's, cut-off limps (has 20bb's) and it's folded to me. I shove and he insta-calls with AJ flop a gut shot and turn alot of split pot outs but not to be, well played him. :(

Qualified for that $60k guaranteed tournament again where I didn't win a hand, starts at 4am, hopefully run a bit better than last time.

Yet another edit: It's now the 2nd break, two hours in...how many hands have I won in those 2 hours?...three!! The last two of them has been from just shoving with AK and KQ pre-flop and taking the blinds. Cannot catch a break at all. On 2570, up 70 on the starting stack, blinds 125/250. 123rd/140/440 :)
