I think statictically I was a better chance to win that pot than the guy who beat me with his A9 to my AQ... Not by much though!

Lol don't know about that, I vent quite alot in case you hadn't noticed. :p

Yeah, it was a bad beat. I just thought you would be immune to the simple river suckout by now and only fire up on the runner runner straight flush beating your nut flush when the guy called your all in check raise with 67 off to your AK suited kind of beat. :D

After a few hundred thousand hands you would have thought so right?... Wrong. :D

This is where being very competitive isn't a great thing, I want to win EVERY hand and hate losing no matter how much is at stake. I'm a good sport and a gracious loser, never show it in person but hate losing.

ps: if I did cop that beat i'd be straight to the westgate!

I've had a ****ed day in the cash games. Either I start with a great hand that turns to shit on the flop or connect, only to get sucked out on the river. Every c bet I've made has been into somebody with top pair and I've watched endless hands folded pre-flop go on to make the nuts. Poker hates me and at the minute the feeling is mutual.

No particular hand, just a general whinge.

LATE ADDITION

Just lost ****ing again to a ****ing idiot who raised pre-flop, A78 on the flop and he bets out, I call with a pair of aces while everybody else folds. Turn 6, he leads out again so I raise big, he calls. River 9 and he flips over ****ing QT for ****'s sake. ****ity ****ity **** **** ****. I'm giving up for the day.

51st. Top 50 paid. Yummy.

Was in a comfortable position as well. Massive chipleader basically min-raises on the button with the BB being short figured he was on a steal, shove over the top with 44 to take it down. He woke up with Queens. :thumbsd:

That bet is hilarious.

I have been in this situation a few times due to my shitty internet - infuriating.

My guess is he only bet that amount because he knew that ash was folding to any bet (due to timing out).

Guilty your honour, done it before.

My vent is against the all in monster. I have experienced a few, usually in freerolls, where they just go all in every hand no matter what they have. Usually they don't last long, but a few weeks ago in my regular Sunday night game one guy went 19 straight times winning with whatever he was dealt. Pissed me off to the max because he took me out when I had AK and he had shit.

Same with the tourney I've just finished. Every single hand this idiot went all in. The only thing is he won every hand and is now massive chip leader. How the hell does that sort of shit happen? A couple of standots, A2 v AK and he gets the boat, 83o against QQ and he scores two pair. Almost every hand he connected on the flop and improved on the turn, all the while abusing everybody he beat, thanking them for their money and calling them losers. Everybody on the table tried to take him out with premium hands and lost.

Now that's the kind of shit that makes you hate poker.

Its standard, no point risking more just in case I managed to log back on...

It happened later in the night as well. I raised QQ in EP and got a few callers. Flop QJT and a lot of action except I of course timed out on the flop. In an interesting twist however someone had K9 and the board never paired, so that was cool...

DockersMad, you really have to think long run about that kind of thing. It happens at the cas a heap, where you see someone sitting on about 8 buy-ins... It sucks, but it does change for these perenial losers...

Cheers Ash. I guess it was the comments from the donks afterwards, you should show some patience and maybe you need to take some lessons that really got me wound up. I know that in the long run I'll be ahead of these morons.

Firstly venting at group uni assignments, partner wants my part finished by Monday so we can fine tune it together at uni even though it isn't due in til Friday; so haven't been able to play poker tonight/most likely tomorrow.

Anywho, new article on PokerListings.com about making the switch from online to live to live and what adjustments need to be made, thought it was really helpful. So thought some guys here might like a read: http://www.pokerlistings.com/strategy/online-to-live-seven-rules-for-making-the-switch

****! I've had just about enough of this. Third week in a row my regular Sunday game has been ruined by someone who turns up at the table and just moves all in every hand.

I finally made a stand with ATd and got taken out by K2o. 2 on the flop, K on the turn. Shits me to tears.

Wanted to play the weekly ChampionChip $250k guaranteed, but only had 1 hour 30mins before it started. $200 entry so I said to myself that if I could make $100 minimum from a few sng's then I would play it. After playing three $30 and three $50 turbo sng's I was up $50 despite losing 9/14 coin flips - crucial to turbos. So there was 30 minutes left before the CC, and needed $50 more. Enter one more $50 turbo, and with 3 left i'm sitting 1st with $11k vs 3k and 3k, 5 minutes before it starts so I sign-up thinking i've got this $250 in the bag. Then AKdd loses to K10os, and next hand shove A7hh with BB having 1200 of his 1800 in the blind already, the SB (who I now only just have covered) calls and BB who's just looking for 2nd folds and SB's KQ flops trips. Shove next hand Q6hh and they both call with 24ss and 82cc, one of them makes a pair of 4's and i'm out in 3rd. But just scraped in my $100 profit despite all the beats meaning the CC 'sort of'' only cost me $100.

But anywho, started off alright winning a lot of small pots getting my stack to around 3200 from the starting 2500. Then after the break didn't win one hand, missed every flop and eventually shoved AQos with 10bb's to a raise and he woke up with QQ. Couldn't suck out and out in 779th/1400 after 1 hour 40 mins. Ghey ghey ghey. Never ever, ever do well in the big tourneys. The players are the same if not worse (as most of them qualify for $1) than the usual tournaments but can never seem to get anything going in them, getting frustrating.

Deep in a $50sh MTT, so ****ing annoying. Play good solid poker for 3 hours, build up a solid stack from good calculated play only to get some massive idiot shoving 30bb's wanting to play lotto with his KJos and obviously sucking out. So frustrating, I say "nh, wp" in the chat and get the response "Go cry to mummy" = epic tilt in every other tourney.

So get this...

I am playing a single table SNG. Five (5) players remain and I sit 2nd with approx. 3,000 in chips. Chip leader (4,000) limps from HJ for 100. I pick up Ah Jh on the button. I raise to 400. Blinds fold. Donkey chip leader calls.

Flop comes 3h As Kh. Donkey leads out for the pot (950) and I say to myself 'wtf are you doing I have the nuts' ;) and I snap shove for my stack (2600). Donkey flips Ac 5h. Excellent. Kickered and with the nut flush draw. I fist pump so hard I smash my monitor.

Turn - Qc - add the straight draw.

River - 5d:mad:

I throw my already dismantled monitor into the swimming pool.

Luckily I have two monitors and boot up another SNG.

I build an early chip lead and pick up KK in MP. UTG min raises blinds and I come in for a reraise. UTG pushes and I insta call. He shows JJ. Turn x River J.

I survive for a while and pick up JJ in BB (150). LP chip leader raises to 300. I shove stack for approx. 1300. Called - AK double suited. Turn x River A.

I was so angry I could ******* kill a penguin.

Every time I put my money in good some donkey piece of **** mother****** comes along galloping like a ****sucking donkey and ****** penetrates me like a 12 year old virgin.

**** this **** I am never playing poker again.

:(
