More of the same crap on PokerStars. Geez I'm having a shit of a run on that site.

This time I was playing a tourney and wasn't getting a lot of playable hands. I'm finally left with 9xBB and get A8 OTB. Only one caller before me, I push. Blinds fold and original caller risks nearly half his stack to challenge with 8Ts. (I fist pump so hard I nearly break my hand on my old CRT monitor). Flop AJQ, I think to myself "don't you ****ing dare put a king out there". I only had to wait for the turn.

At least they made it quick :D.

Yeah, cheers for that, I feel so much better. :D:thumbsu:

I had just watched one and was plagiarising a bit, but its like they've been in my head. I've been playing about 12 months and there is one hand that still haunts me. I wish I could find the history.

I raised 4xBB with A* (can't remember) suited with one caller. Pair of aces on the flop and a flush draw so I started feeding money into the pot in big chunks and was quickly called down. I got the nuts on the turn so the bets weren't small and just like in the video I'm thinking "what the **** are you doing I've got the nuts". That was until the river, when he rivered a straight flush.

diogomad later claimed that he had laid down JJ. If that's the case I'm wondering what the hell bondo77 had.

Now I remember why I don't play cash games.

This guy was quite possibly the worst f### player I have ever seen. Have never seen anyone call and raise with such crap before. Was never ever going to lay down kings to him after what sort of crap he had been turning over. Against any sort of decent player I check behind on the turn 95% of the time (they would more than likey raise with an over-pair after the flop, but could easily check-call with a set). If they bet out on the river I flat call, if they check I value bet. Wish I had just played normally but this w***er was just soooo bad!

Put him on exactly KQ. He had just sat down. Just so disgusting. Really don't like cash games online.

I bet you wish you were playing a full stack..

Missed that. Yeh should have re-bought. Annoying, but I've learnt for next time:). He ended up busting with a $200 stack, shoving on the turn with a flush draw . Down about $300 last two days, not very good.

How on earth can you put him on *exactly* KQ? You cannot possibly have enough information to do that. If he is a "normal" player he could have a massively wide range with an UTG post-raise and flop Cbet. Most players at 100NL are going to be Cbetting close to 100% flops.

That's the most standard hand to have in that spot. Call it more of a hunch, but before I shoved I said to myself "I know you have KQ". You don't have to believe me, but that's what I put him on. Pre-flop he's already put in the $1 blind for sitting down. Unlikely he will raise with 10-Q or worse, as I have AQ he's unlikely to have that. The most likely hands he's going to have are JQ and KQ (based on the post-flop bet). It's more likely that he's going to raise with KQ and limp with JQ.

I just really find it hard to imagine he's going to continuation bet that flop "close to 100% of the time" after being called by two opponents. If it was heads up I completely agree with you. But the fact that there was two callers he must have hit that flop in some form or another to continuation bet there. If he's completely missed i'd say he's going to check there 80% of the time. He's not going to continuation into 2 players on a flop with a flush draw, straight draw and a queen with complete air. That's just my personal take on it.

My vent is that I haven't won 1 coin flip yet tonight. Knocked out in 3 tournaments all to coin flips, and lost two in that cash game.

I think you're right in saying that 3 players will definitely decrease cbet frequency, but a TAG's cbet range there is still something like 66-AA, QJ,KQ,AQ as well as spade draws, and air maybe 10-15%. A LAG would likely also cbet AK as well as pocket-pairs under a 6 a lot of the time, plus air maybe 25-30% of the time.

So in any case, it's pretty wide.

I would agree though that KQ is probably the most likely single hand, simply from a combinatorics standpoint.

I was not the one who has had a bad beat last night. It was my opponent.

It was on the Final Table and down to three players (including myself) with 5000/10000 blinds. I was big blind and only had 20000 left (not including the 10000 that was posted for big blind). The player on the button folded and the small blind (he had approx 60000) called 10000. For me I was simply betting that I had a better hand than he did and at that time of the tournament it is often heads up. So I went all in for 30000 and the small blind called.

I had A7 suited diamonds. He had 9K unsuited. It was somewhat a race. The flop came out 9,Q,T. My opponent hit the 9 on the board.
The turn came. 9,Q,T,[Q] The turn gave my opponent two pairs 9s & Qs. I was about to get out of my seat thinking that there is no way an A was coming out on the river, and I was right.

The river came. 9,Q,T,Q[T] The river card gave us both two pairs Ts & Qs but I had the A kicker so I won. It is about time some luck came my way. Anyway as I said it was not a bad beat to me but for my opponent.

lol, counterfeits are the best bad beats :D

saw a hand at Crown the other night. noob against young pro.

flop: KK3, two diamonds. noob checks, pro bets, noob calls.

turn: black 10. noob bets, pro raises, noob goes all-in for a little more, pro calls.

river: king.

pot ~$120. pro doesn't like the river, asks noob if he has the King, he says no.

young pro had 33 for a flopped book
I called noob's hand before he showed it. he had 10-2 dd lol.

one of the funniest hands i've seen.

Should of raised more on the turn in retrospect but still....

Not only that, but you should have bet the flop. There was a bet and two callers before you. You should have taken control right there, especially with a flush draw on board. Raise to at least 0.60 IMO. At 0.02/0.05 you could probably even shove and get a call from top pair or a flush draw.
