67o call, call, all-in, you ****ing muppet. I mean, ffs.

The worst beat I've taken in the last couple of months is the damn exchange rate. And it's not close. :mad:

Hopefully 75+ is not sustainable and it drops, but if it gets below 70 again, I'm gonna hedge the crap out of it.

Below 70 is not sustainable. Grab the data from the RBA and graph it. You're kidding yourself if you expect the AUD to remain in the 60s long-term. The dollar will probably settle between 70-75.

Looking at long-run historical data is generally the worst way to try to predict anything.

In any case, I'm simply shitty that I didn't lock it in when it was bouncing around 65 or whatever. Now I have to chase my losses. :)

Well. I've just had the poker hour from hell. Playing two tournies, a $22 one and a $33 one.

In the $22, i get K10s, i raise to 2xbig blind, two callers.

Flop comes out, 3h-10h-7s.
I bet 3xbig blind, one caller.
Turn = 3h. He checks, I don't put him on flush or flush draw, and i bet again, 4xbig blind.
He goes all in, i call.
He has 68o.
River = 9.

:rolleyes:

Second time today i've been screwed by the straight on the river.
---

In the $33 one, i get J8s. I call. 4 players.
Flop comes out, 9-9-J.
I bet 3xbig blind, one caller.
Turn = 6, i check thinking he might have the 9, but he checks too.
River = 9. I bet thinking worst case scenario he has a J and we'll split, he puts me all in, i call.

He has KK.

Well played to him, but still that was shitty.

I was making money without even playing while I was waiting to turn 18. Withdrew all my winnings from my first account when the dollar was at $0.63. :D :D

Depositing that money into sites at the moment as well for a 10 cent gain. Have timed it well.

Quad nines no good? :confused:

Bet more pre-flop and flop on your first hand.

Sorry.. that was a typo.. Supposed to be an 8. I had the 9s full Js, he had the 9s full his pockets Ks.

--

Speaking of bad beats. Short stacked in yet another tournament. Got A8 pre flop. Raise to 3xbig blind, 2 callers.

Flop: A, 3, 8.

I check, waiting for others to bet, one guy bets 2xbig, one folds, i go all in.

He has A,3.

Turn = K
River = 3.

YAY for me.. :rolleyes:

I've decided to stop playing for a while because i've run out of disposable breakable items in my room.

Yeh sometimes it is unavoidable.

Flop a straight with K 10, guys turns over AQ after moving all in.

Always a kick in the **** when he makes a FH.

It appeared AA was a curse for me in the Wednesday night tourney, a couple of pretty bad beats & a draw... Fortunately in the final hand I got AA & it held.

Good start to the day:

- Open up a PLO100 table, sit alone for about a minute.
- Some donk buys in for 100.
- We get it all in preflop on the first hand, I have AAJ9, he has some random junk.
- Some random junk ships it.
- The donk runs back to the hole from whence he came.

**** I hate hit and runners.

I actually managed to make it into a position of strength - almost double the second biggest stack, and about 50% of what was on the table.

I get Qs 9s. Checked to me, I bet 5 blinds. Three callers.

Flop comes As Js 4s. You little ripper.

Check, min bet, call, I re-raise pot. One call, one fold.

Ad. He goes all in (about 2xpot). I put him on aces.

I think for a minute (to the point of getting a time-warning thing - never had that before), then call.

He turns over Ah, Ks. I show my flush.

What do you reckon the river is? Another bloody Spade.

=====
Next hand, I get pocket aces. Get it all in pre-flop. Same guy calls, turns over pocket kings.

Flop comes A/Q/J. 3 of a kind, but he's got plenty of outs.

Turn comes K. 10 will get us a tie, otherwise I've got it.

River comes K.

==============
I'm now a smaller-ish stack, and take a break. Come back 5 minutes later, and the player above is back down to the pack. I'm the second small stack.

Fold crap for about 10 hands or so (threw away money on a BB junk hand, SB small-bet then went All-in, I had junk)

Get K/Q os.

Flop comes in 8/9/J. I pot-bet, one caller, two fold.

Turn comes 10. Small stacked, decide this is the hand, go all-in.

He calls.

Turns over A/K.

River? ...Q

From pointy end of tournament to out (>1000) within about 20 minutes.

Would have said it sounded like Mark Vos but he wouldn't have bought in for 100.

Some people are ridiculously lucky. Playing a sit-n-go. Top two only get paid, three left.

One large stack, two mediums. I'm one of the mediums, and the shortest stack as well.

Got AA. Raise 2xbig blind pre-flop. The other medium stack goes all in, i call. He has A8 off suit.

Flop: 4Q5
Turn: 7
River: 6

Awesome.. :rolleyes:

Happens all the time. Playing a $10 + $1 SNG last night. 5 left, BB is 200.

I have AKs utg+1 (stack of approx. 1700) and shove hoping to get called by big stack who plays every hand. Instead get called by SB (stack approx. 2300) who has AQo. You bewdy. :thumbsu:

Flop...AKJ. Awesome. Flop top 2. Absolutely dominating. Except all I can think is where is that f**king 10.

Turn x, River 10.

Awesome.

Bloody Bwin - I reckon 90% of the time I get busted (whether ITM or on the bubble) I get my money into the pot in front. This site seems to hit the villains miracle card on the turn/river more than is the fair share.

$7 rebuy Titan
sitting 3rd in chips after the 3rd break 70 odd left 30 to get money.
45min later instead of being in a strong position Im now struggling to make the bubble. Out in 32nd.
For the last hour and a bit I get nothing from the dealer. Best hole cards 88 and AQ and both times I had 2 players allready all in before it was my time to act. In knowing I wasnt going to make the money I would have had a stab. Poker can be so cruel.
Dont think I really made a bad misstake and just didnt get the cards delt.
