I found my villain again today, or rather, he found me and sat two to my right on an already fishy 6max table. Bottom line, I managed to win back all of yesterday's losses (but not before he rivered a flush vs my 2 pair).![]()
I folded.
It's still not right though, as the best hands on the board in that. I give up.
Winner was 3x8s, 2x5s.
Board was 3x5s, 2x8s
I was 5/8...but folded.
too confusing.
If you saw these players, you'd be sorely tempted, i think. The PLO is not as fishy as other sites from what I have seen so far.Hey, I don't play limit anymore, your fishies are safe. I'm after the PLO fishies.
WTF are you talking about? You folded quads when there was nothing out there that could possibly beat you? When you folded the turn you had 8's full of 5's, nothing could beat you there either.
He folded pre. This is the standard shit where you correctly fold junk only for the board to come down with a boat or quads. Happens all the time.

Nah, limit tilts me too much. I can't take it.
In any case, I think I need to get my cash onto some euro sites pronto.
I get dealt 78s in the BB, by the time it gets around to me two players are all in so I go to fold (my stack was about 30k at this point) and accidentally click call. So basically I'm ****ed, swearing screaming just super pissed off because its going to leave me with about 8k.
Flop comes 788. I start pmsl. I shove and the third player folds. Other guy flips over K's and starts abusing me for making the call with 78. I try to explain it was accidental but he refuses to believe me lol.
Poor guy was just shattered.
I never quite understood why people abuses others when they get beaten. If he saw your hand before the flop he would have loved for you to call, but lady luck decided to knee him in the groin. He had the best hand by far pre-flop but it is impossible to eliminate the element of luck in the game, in fact it is the balance between strategy and luck that makes the game interesting.
He had about $4, and put $2.90 in as a bet (2x pot). With pocket Ks I had to call, though it pot-commited me.

Last night, at a 5/10c table. I get pocket kings, pre-flop bet, raise, a few folders. I re-raise, get a fold, and a big bet.

How many hands beat KK pre-flop?
