This thread works well on the Dream Team board in particular, and Sunday's game made me wish the Dons board had one. Here it is.

Vent about anything you like, Essendon-related, football-related, or just life-related.

I'll start by venting at my slow ****ing computer (how ****ing hard is it to log on for the first time each day).

Also, what the **** is with all of the McVeigh-bashing recently? Seriously, suggestions to trade him are just ****ing stupid. Some people have short memories.

Swimming itself is a great sport. The international sport of swimming is a farce.

I also hate how everybody carries on about how good Australia is at swimming and how swimmers are the greatest Olympians of all time. Get ****ED! Half of the world don't swim (i'm looking at African athletes here), whereas in athletics people from ALL nations compete.

If Usain Bolt was able to run slightly sideways or backwards or not using his arms over distances of 110m, 120m, 130m etc then he too could win 8 gold medals in the same Olympics! And hell if he wore sprinting spikes with buoyancy springs which were illegal but able to be worn at the World Champs next month, he would run world records every race too!

Maybe Mark McVeigh should start wearing these poly-illegal suits to get into some form?

Great idea for a thread.

My vent for this week (and sorry to relate it back to football) is that I think our team is mentally soft, meaning they cannot win the games they are really expected too for some reason.

Is it complacency? Is it egos? Who knows, but it needs to be sorted out as of tommorow afternoon in Western Australia.
