Ben - you cant be serious mate. Out of a whole game you find two frees that managed to alter the universe or something, something like those gritz in My Cousin Vinny - and thats why the Lions crumbled and lost by 7 goals? I've watched 4 of the 5 games this w/end....and across the board the umpiring has stunk - you want to see how a game can swing on umpires, watch the last 10 mins of the swans/saints game....but PLEASE dont tell me that thats why the Lions fell over. Thats just plain ignorance mate.

I've posted a lot on the Bombers board because I have enjoyed watching your team grow this year - and yes with that comes inconsistent performances - but your knocking on the door - maybe your...um.....'enthusiasm' should be directed to todays game?

Good luck today guys - you should win easily - but you are missing some guns.....I personally hope you crush them !

Isn't it funny that when things get a bit tough, how many people show up as being pretty f***ing useless.

Shall we start with Kepler Hooker, work our way through Lucas, McPhee and Reimers, before finishing with Andrew Welsh?

Seriously, over 16 rounds we take some great steps forward and then in 2 short weeks, almost go back to where we were 12 months ago.

I don't want to hear injuries used as an excuse anymore. The players we selected today have been in the selected 22 many times before and continally let the side down (slight reprieve for young Kepler, I mean Cale because he's just young and stupid).

Heads must roll, it's as simple as that. Put players in for surgery, get the rookies into the side and find out what else we've got to work with because it's become very clear that what we have at the moment might take us to the finals next year, but nowhere near the top of the ladder.
