But I think it's time we moved on from this.

Of the want-away 5, it was almost inevitable that one of them was going to show something early.....it just happens to be Polec.

Longer, Karnezis and Docherty can't get even a game and from what I've seen of Yeo so far, he's been far from a world-beater.

To be fair, Polec was plagued by a lot of injury problems in his 3 years in Brisbane but has also come out with a mea culpa insofar as admitting he didn't cut the mustard for us. Sometimes players seem to need the psychological circuit breaker of a move to a different environment.

If we are going to have wailing and gnashing of teeth every time an "EX" shows some form, we are going to end up gibbering emotional wrecks.

w/e, thats why said "think". Point is, l rekon we could play someone smaller for him, he doesnt seem to be doing a lot. Our lack of goal kickers means, imo, we should go with a hard gut-running player who kicks goals regularly.

If we had anyone that could kick goals regularly that's fit to play, I reckon they'd already be in the team.

I think the role Paps is playing is the one that Bewick was doing last year. High half forward leading up towards the wing, and working back towards goal.

? Patfull did a number on Bartel but for two arsey goals and Adcock was one of our best off half back. Merrett was poor though.

Adcock had 10 touches, how could that possibly be "one of our best" and maybe a bit harsh on Patfull but he still only had 1 extra touch on Bartell but Jimmy kicked 2 goals, so not really a win.

Adcocks run in the first half was excellent I thought, was moved onto Varcoe it looked like after he got away from Lisle. Patfulls job isn't to win possessions either, broke even at absolute worst.

I see what thread we are in though.

Our inability to at least win a quarter yet. We still haven't won one out of eight.
