Think most of us can empathise that you have to have a somewhat thickish skin to be an AFL supporter in Rugby Leage territory Kezz, but projecting your personal problems onto Leppa isn't really rational or fair.

He can't suddenly turn a struggling football team into a brilliant one on account of your workmates being dickheads. Got to stand up for yourself.

I understand that, but standing up for yourself is a great way to get yourself in line to be fired.

I've had one case at work where someone went blabbing to customers about my workload and how I had serveral jobs about to breach (which was bull but anyway) and because I brought it to managements attention I now seem to be in the crosshairs at the moment. I can't afford to lose my job.

It was just a vent, and it's not supposed to be rational or fair. If you really want irrational, you should have been reading my mind on the flight over to Adelaide. Got kicked out of the exit row AGAIN because I was on the same flight as the boys.

I get Melbourne and Carlton Supporters trying to give me shit at work, it's hilarious. I always just laugh and say "Who do you support again, Carlton? Melbourne?" they shut up straight away. Don't mind people giving me crap, I can take it and give it back, but please, if you're going to come at me, at least be a supporter of a respectable team. Even then the easiest way to get them to shut up is to agree, they'll shut up when you don't bite back. It's like dealing with kids.

Fair enough. Thought it may have been more than a vent considering Kezz wrote a pretty heartfelt blog about it too, but point taken.
