I'm sick of it. waiting for us to show something. no offence to the bulldogs but we were absolutely shit. not just 1 or 2 but the whole stupid team. I am extremely pissed off. I didnt even bother watching the last quarter (something I have never done). No excuse for today's effort. I am ashamed to be a lions supporter when my team shows no heart. I guess this is how a me lb fan feels most games

GOLD COAST SUNS just beat the Staints.

I wish MY rabble could pull a finger out and do that.
Instead they get cleaned up by the dam DOGS of all teams.
TOP 8 my *** we should be hoping we get to 10 wins again.

Last year we were thrashed Round 2 in a game that I'd argue was worse than yesterday's. Bounced back with a solidly strategised away game against Freo and then a 10 goal win over the GC. We had two 10 goal losses in a row, and then a 15 goal win. Hawthorn beat us by 10 goals, then we won the next two both by 10 goals. Is your memory approximately one week long?

I honestly think this is much the same a Carlton 2001, if we bounce back against a seemingly struggling Adelaide next week it will springboard us into the year, but if we lose and then go up against a confident gold coast in rnd 3 and lose, bottom 4 looks likely. Next week is massive

I didn't expect a win against Adelaide before this, definitely don't after this, but if we don't at least show up I'll be no longer expecting a win in Round 3 either.

The game against Adelaide could quite literally make or break the careers of some, if we lose the season is gone and vossy is gone, etc.

Not sure I'd got that far. Another uncompetitive performance against the Crows however and then losing to GC, starting 0-3 and coming into that horror stretch and Brisbane can start advertising for a new coach.

That's just the way footy works.
