Now I've got to deal with every one who I pumped us up to.
Haha me to and my Essendon mate who I gave it to mercilessly!!! We could very well be bottom of ladder after this round.

Im super worried that today will set the tone for the season , how on earth could the team be so down for the first game
Likewise, looking forward to hearing Voss's press conference on his thoughts as to why the team was so down.

Do people see us doing better than today?
I bloody well hope so. Im still shell shockedUh... yes?
I went to that game. ****** joke that one... nearly as bad as today. The last Lions game I went to was round 5 v Melbourne.
**** this, I am a jinx for our team. Haven't seen a Lions win in so long.
Do people see us doing better than today? TBH the way we played today I cant see it. We will known as a great side if we can bounce from this.

Last year we were thrashed Round 2 in a game that I'd argue was worse than yesterday's. Bounced back with a solidly strategised away game against Freo and then a 10 goal win over the GC. We had two 10 goal losses in a row, and then a 15 goal win. Hawthorn beat us by 10 goals, then we won the next two both by 10 goals. Is your memory approximately one week long?
I honestly think this is much the same a Carlton 2001, if we bounce back against a seemingly struggling Adelaide next week it will springboard us into the year, but if we lose and then go up against a confident gold coast in rnd 3 and lose, bottom 4 looks likely. Next week is massive
The game against Adelaide could quite literally make or break the careers of some, if we lose the season is gone and vossy is gone, etc.I didn't expect a win against Adelaide before this, definitely don't after this, but if we don't at least show up I'll be no longer expecting a win in Round 3 either.
