The guy is just about at spud status. Absolute liability to the team, yet would never be dropped.

The double standards that applies to team selection is beyond a joke and we wonder why our position hasn't changed for the past 9 years.
Yep! :(

Very frustrating seeing GWS kicking a higher score than us...sure, they're getting belted, but they're breaking even in possessions/clearances/tackles. They've had their last quarter fadeout as always but they gave more of a yelp than we did.

Not really Lions related but it just made me angry all over again about last night's performance :P

how does it feel knowing we will never get a friday night match again

Well then!! ...If that's all it takes to lose a particular game..Bingo!!.. I'm going to write to the Club and ask for a repeat performance against Hawthorn in Tasmania & Melbourne in Darwin...Should get an extra 2 games in Melbourne on my membership.

A CEO of an AFL club made a very good point with regards to tipping competitions. Pick the older team. It is almost a given each year doing this you win the tipping competition.

The point is that as frustrating as the game was last night... We are so young it is abnormal we are in this position. Give the kids years ... They need to just keep playing. The intent seemed bad but I think it's more the occasion got to them rather than they are not trying.

Think the event that happened before the game ,re the Lions trainer, may have upset them somewhat as well.

If it wasn't for gold coast and gws , we could have had a Cameron or an omeara on our list!!!

it's amazing how in the time voss was our coach, goldcoast formed and now they have surpassed us

Amazing how a team with a much bigger salary cap allowing them to poach the best player in the game and heaps of first round picks and preselected youngsters would improve quicker than us.

Why don't we have names for our stands at the GABBA?

Even if the Trust won't name a stand, why don't we do it like Essendon do at the Dome, the Bulldogs have the Hawkins wing too..

Would not be many major sporting grounds around as long as the GABBA that don't have something named..

The AKA Pocket?

I hate how we brought in soft players Martin and Lisle when their combined salaries could be used to get a real quality player

Its a case of two blocks of butter or a bag of cement.
Butter can go hard in the freeza thou, but when the blow torch is out ya know what happens.

Give me the bag of cement to harden this mob up.
******* rolling over and getting pumped by the pies on the home turf... weak.
