Worth trading him to get that number 1 pick for Boyd surely, I don't wanna see that kind of filth at the club.

It's not what you expect from lions players I agree. Maybe just put him in as a sweetener with Rich and Leuey for pick 1.

Does it annoy anyone else when Hanley kicks another brilliant goal on the run he can't seem to put his arms higher than his shoulders to celebrate? He does these weird little half-arm pumps. Another pre-season with Browny should remedy that.

Yeap he doesn't cut it in the excitement stakes like say a pick 1 Jonathon Patton!
Put him up for trade bait along with Dan Rich for pick 1 from the welfare basket case GW$.
I heard Boyd is worth it and of course we 100% need a super forward to win at all period.
Hammo and me are currently working on the Deal as we speak.

Hold on a minute I need to go out the back to beat some sense into myself or
get told to go watch Tennis (for one player wonders).

If you watch this post-match interview from last night it's clear that even Pearce knows that it's a major deficiency in his game and that it needs to be seriously worked on asap.

It's good that he's acknowledged his deficiencies and is going to work on them, maybe worth keeping him at the Lions then...

Blah blah blah... "MICHAEL Voss is no clearer on his future despite the Brisbane Lions' remarkable mid-season rally." Blah blah blah.
What's so frigging remarkable about it? Some of these media knob jockeys think we are a complete basket case... they've got no idea. We will beat up some more "remarkable" teams in the near future...mark my words.

One wonder's whether it is an experience thing. I would suggest if he spent some time in the NEAFL, he would have the opportunity to celebrate more goals and could really work on this side of his game.

I for one like the Hanley 'skipping girl' goal celebration - what's his option "the chainsaw"? :p

Choose one Pearce. My favourite is 'the fighter'.

How the hell can four Brisbane defenders stand there, look at the ball, fight for it and then screw it up???
We all learnt as juniors to talk amongst team mates. that is why we continue to frustrate!

Two things I could not be more sick of:

- we can't win a ****ing first quarter to save ourselves

- why do we have to put up with this shit from umpires week in week out. It just makes it so ****ing nauseating. That first quarter tonight was just the latest example of Auskick umpiring verging on down right cheating - just outright refusing to give one team obvious free kicks.

******* Umpires. End Rant.

How can Watts, Dawes and Davey be made to look good???
Goose said he is feeling better than he has for years this week but Dawes (who is as slow as a plow) is at least 10 metres in front of him at every contest.
The NEAFL must be pretty weak when last weeks stands out in Yeo and Lisle have no impact what so ever tonight!!

You have everything back to front.

Agree...Goose was by far the better of the two. I'm just glad we didn't get Dawes despite our enquiries.

Not sure he is worth anything close to the salary Melbourne are rumoured to be paying him either. Factor in Clark's wages and they are paying probably over a mil and half for two guys giving them absolutely nothing, acknowledging Clark's injury.

Gawn would've had to pull out a machete and slash Leuenberger's tendon to give away a free kick in the ruck tonight. What is the point of getting front position if the bloke at the back just grabs hold of him at the contest?

And then he fell victim to that increasingly common phenomenon in the AFL tonight: an umpire who doesn't know the rules. If you take the ball out the ruck and are tackled, it's only holding the ball if you don't dispose of it properly.

Umpires FFS, you had my son in tears, one of the worst umpired matches I have ever witnessed. Melbourne were let back into the game, by the umpires on numerous occasions, sometimes even multiple frees were awarded in a row to get them out of defense and into attack. Maggots!

Tired of centre bounce frees that happen before the ball up, as soon as the whistle blows you KNOW it's going to be against us...

Is it just me or can no umpire get a centre bounce right anymore. There seem to be a dozen recalls a game! I swear against the Roos there were five dodgy bounces in a row! It can't be that hard.
