Retzy doing his knee. There's something that I (and all of us) can really vent about. Really a lot of today's result can be attributed to the fact we are still such a young side in general. Hawks we simply better than us as a whole. Their midfield group is a fair bit more experienced.

Brisbane's defense are really good one-on-one but they really need to improve their team defense similar to Geelong and Collingwood. Maguire is the only one that leave's his man to go 3rd man up but he can't do that when he's playing on Buddy. Too many times today Maguire was left with Buddy one out inside 50.

The reason for our poor second was Rockliff moving into the centre? He had the most contested disposals and clearances between both teams. Would have been a 100 point drubbing.

I don't remember anybody thinking that we were going to win. The word was definitely 'hope'. You are right, and top 4 side should be beating a bottom 6 side. Our expectation was a competitive match, and that was delivered for the most part. We shouldn't have to lower our expectations from that.

On a separate note, I don't see how Hawthorns superior experience and subsequent fitness and skils should be attributed to Vossy. Why do you still have the Crazy Vossy pictrue as your avatar?

This is not Bay13....and even over there, under no circumstances, even in a joking fashion, would/could I call Micheal Voss "Crazy Vossy"...it is nothing but an insult to the captain of the team (YOUR team, supposedly) that led us during our glory years..

A true supporter of this team does NOT call him that!!

As someone who does focus on German history research it's incredibly depressing when people spout stuff like this.

...and another thing I forgot to mention.......its a word you need to learn

LOYALTY.......it means showing respect by not bitching, name calling or putting down in a derogatory fashion someone/something to which you are supposedly close to, think a lot of...e.g...family, close friend or in this case...football team..

I'm a bit frustrated with Rockliff's performances of late, to be honest. He's had some big games in wins against lower placed opponents, but has been well off that same pace in games against better teams. Notwithstanding that Rockliff is still a young, developing player, I tend to expect a bit more from him, given the standards that he, the club and I guess supporters expect from him. Obviously what supporters expect can be quite different from reality, or what might be expected by the club, but given that he won the B&F last year, I'd suggest that he has been quite a way off of that standard in 2012.

Sure, he worked himself into the game in the second half today, but in many games this year he has seemed to be struggling to get first to the ball at the stoppages, not reading where the ball is going from the ruck (sometimes he even seems to be metres away from the contest, by himself), as well as not being able to shake off the tag that he is getting most weeks in order to get on the end of a handball receive or to mark in space.

I suppose this might be the first year that he's copped a tag most weeks, but watching him in some games this year, I've wondered if his work rate couldn't improve somewhat. To be fair, I suppose there is also the possibility of him carrying an injury which may not have been reported.

By comparison, Rich and Redden seem more capable of cracking in and getting amongst it, in spite of the quality of opposition.

I am not sure how you can look at that picture and not find it offensive. That picture has an effect on me everytime i look at it. That bloke would die for this club and it seems you are degrading him. I am glad that avitar has given you joy. But i hope it hasnt given you as much joy as the 3 captained premierships, 5 best and fairest, all australians, and browlow. Mahybe it is time you showed him some respect irrespective of what you think of his coaching ( and look you can say what you want to say), however a new avitar may breath new life into you a bit like zorkos injection into our line up
