Given that this thread is fairly quiet this week, I thought it might be a good opportunity to remind y'all that this is the one thread on this board where posters should just let stuff slide.

When you've got steam coming out of your ears the last thing you want to do is have a reasoned debate or have flaws in your logic pointed out.

This thread simply won't work as a catharsis if people need to defend their venting. Yes, you'll read stuff in here that gets your back up, but please, just let it slide.

Posters that don't let people vent shit me!! If you blokes don't start allowing people to tee off I'm going to tee off on you with a card! Stupid flogs making my life difficult!!

I thought it was interesting during the first quarter that I recognised the names of a bunch of posters who were being extremely negative but whom I only ever seem to see when there *is* something negative to say ... I hope it is just a feature of their posting as I would hate to live a life where the only pleasure I get is through negativity or spiteful remarks ... would have been great to see them posting during the last quarter as well ... C'est la vie

It should never have been a shot on goal in the first place. It was a ridiculous holding ball decision against Lester.

To be fair to him (controversial, I know), the way the rules used to be would have caused the goal to be counted and a free kick in the middle. The rule change being only recent gives him approximately 20 years of playing and coaching under one rule, and a couple of years of commentating under another.

I think we are in an extremely good place. The team is showing indications it has changed personality. The performances have been sporadic but are starting to repeat themselves,
always a good sign. I've been blown away by the new kids and Huddo (his crash, bash and mass remind of Clark Keating).

Thought Roosey was positive. His comments in the last 15 minutes about panicking(not swans tempo) were true. But I prefer our constant attack. It's not about tempo but building up unrelenting pressure and fitness.

All right, I will vent my left spleen off, we pick a mid twenty something kid ignored and let go by another club, how dare we. There's only one response. Please ,please, please comb the entire country for similar players. Zork is the recruit of the year. Has skills similar to Rainsey's dad, (I digress but isn't it great to see Rainsey blossom, and he trueley loves his club). Lester is also bad. So bad he reminds me of the Great Francis Bourke.

I think after he got a massive haul of goals one week I started following his progress through the year. He is the only player that I have ever followed before playing in the AFL, and now he wears my favourite number at my favourite club.

I need to vent that there is only 2 games left for this year. I think it disgraceful that this season has gone by so quickly and will be over in a fortnight. If only last season went by so quickly the pain wouldn't have been so intense (I still think it was better then 2010 though). Still 2013 should (hopefully) be even better.
