The concern I have with our continual run of poor results over the past few years is how on earth you are supposed to sell whatever it is we have to offer to guys both coming off contract and any potential suitors. It is becoming obvious the fans are losing confidence and you'd have to imagine some of the players would be to.

I don't have the answers. All I know is that some big changes need to occur at this footy club sooner rather than later. I personally don't think we are any closer to whatever it is than we were 4-5 years ago and we simply cannot wait another 4-5 years, because at a minimum that is where we are at. The whole pushing for a flag in 2016 is nothing but a pipedream unless something drastic occurs at season's end.

Thats a bit of a stretch. Any of Hanley, Rich, Rockliff, Redden, Moloney, Zorko, Black, Leuenberger, and probably Merrett and Patfull would get gigs in top teams. We have a lot of talent, Persistence is required.

where is this massive talent then??? where was it today when we got belted, and when we just scraped over the gc and melb???

lets start bringing potential into results, and no more excuses...we had lots of coasters today, apart from an irishman who only picked the game up a few years ago

lets face it, redden is badly out of form, rockie went missing for lots of today and moloney had a shocker first quarter...this from a seasoned pro

no tyre pumping, i want results not talk and excuses

there are no favours from anyone, not least the gen public and afl who couldnt giv a rats about us if you hadnt noticed

Is Cornelius finished? How many opportunities can be afforded a player who bullies Reserves graders but falls well short when playing against the big boys? Ryan Harwood also seems so out of favour it's not funny, at least he has a go and was given one game before being sent packing. Time to start getting serious and putting a bullet up the playing list by omitting some more Senior players, to show everyone their positions in the starting lineup is not guaranteed!

Well I'm inclined to be patient with this group, we stuck with the Swans for 3 quarters or so today which is not a bad effort. its only a matter of the old cliche. Get games into em.

We stuck for three quarters after the horse had bolted and Sydney most likely went into a holding pattern to save players for a game that may be more testing later? I'm reasonably confident that Sydney could have found another gear had our charge been more sustained on the scoreboard.

Went and saw my son at the farm camp he's at, heard the first 20 mins on the radio.. ( got out of car score was 4.3.27 to doughnuts ) Basically only heard Swans players mentioned, with the odd Lion popping up for something minimal... can only imagine how bad it looked live or on TV. Got home about an hour ago and proceeded to delete it from IQ. Not gonna bother sitting through that shite....

Ever thought that perhaps we were okay for 2.5-3 qtrs was because the Swans had already smoked us by 40 points? Any team with such a comfy buffer would hold back a bit.

Karnezis needs to get games. He is highly skilled but will never be an A grader if he hasn't got a chance to build his physical side up in the AFL.

Need a coach who can develop players AND gameplan for all opposition teams before AND during the game. Don't care for sexy or popular. WANT GUY WHO CAN JUST WIN.

Paul Roos, Rodney Eade, Mark Thompson, John Worsfold. Any of them. History of development with three of them premiership coaches in the modern era.

Doubt we've got the $ for them, or the staff they'd demand to have around them.
