Obviously now that I've stated that, I cannot like anything that I have omitted and therefore want to commit genocide on everything else.

The omission of something doesn't mean the lack of it. I know perfectly well this is the vent thread and, as I've posted elsewhere, I've gone through the Lions' insipid performances at every game I've seen live in the last ten years. But because he wants to perform well at home, it means he doesn't want to perform well everywhere else? **** me, that is one of the stupidest things I've read.

You are exactly right dlanod. Give me a Team that plays a great competetive brand of footy every week regardless of the venue win, lose or draw and I will never have to read between the lines on anything quoted and printed by the Coach said, implied or omitted and post a VENT ever again.

Whilst on the topic of omissions, in the same artical Vossy also said.

I'm pretty disappointed with our last quarter fade outs.

In the games against the Crows and the Eagles when both games were there to be won in the last quarter, we were non-existent. We could only manage 0.4 to the Crows' 5.1 after which time we were leading by 8 points at the last change. Then today, when scores were level at the same stage we kicked 3.1 to 7.3. You could also throw the Suns game in there too when we only managed 3.2 to 5.3.

Sure skill errors, inexperience and some very poor umpiring has cost us, but our fitness may be a concern too.

Brown's immediate opponent being named in the best couple whenever he has a quiet day, which has occurred about 3 times this year. IMO Brown's ineffectiveness in a game is largely due to an ageing body and shithouse delivery by our mids, rather than the dominance of Brown's opponent.

I agree Dylan, we saw the mobility he still has and the ability to break away from his direct opponent and take contested marks. It's the delivery that's hurting not only Brown, but the rest of the forwards.

They did it too with the Rocky/Reddo Coke Zero Challenge. They actually cut the vid short but left it going long enough to get the laugh when Reddo "won".

That might have been the one I was thinking of. The crowd had a nice old laugh about 3 seconds before the bounce.

My boys footy usually starts at 8.50am and we are ususally done and dusted by 10am. I had planned to jump straight in the bus, fight with roadworks and traffice and arrive at Etihad at around 1.30 to watch S Black strut his stuff live for at least one more time,however the muppets have organised junior interleague for U/14 & U/17 away from the usual interleague carnival the next week and the boys game has been moved back to 11am.

Long story short, I aint getting to Etihad in time for a 1.45pm start.

Only one chance left in Vic for the year, I may have to do a cross border dash to watch him against Port. Just want to see it live one more time.
