To be honest, I don't go outside the Lions' board. I don't notice anyone hating us at all!

Probably for the same reasons we hate (or STRONGLY DISLIKE ) other team I would imagine.

I usually look at the opposing teams thread for the week to see if they are worried or not ,and most times you will read someone bagging us then the next poster will say dont underestimate the Lions, But this is a vent thread after all so my vent is that they F......g beat us.

If I'ma be honest boys, it's because of the way that you go about making your arguments. In many cases the approach that you take means that opposition trolls (70% of the posters - no exaggeration) latch on immediately, arguing the opposite even if they don't really believe it or care which along with incredulous replies from inexperienced Lions posters severely de-values your argument.

As a Lions poster you can totally post on the main board and not be trolled to hell, but it's all about the way you post.

Remember also that many of the main board posters are already pretty hateful. Many other posters also cop it, regardless of team. Many Hawks, Swans and Cats posters cop grief and hate.

Richmond fans are a bitter bunch. Port too.

Plus, its the interwebs. People talk all kind of crap behind a screen. I much prefer to talk face to face.

I think I said this early in my brief posting career, but before I started posting I checked out everyone on the Lions' board. I really enjoyed everything you all said. Even when there were heated disagreements everyone was adult about how they had posted and saw when they were out of line. We're talking about a football team and we generally all seem to realise that at some point.

I agree with Chezzalenko Reborn - I'm a fan of face-to-face talking/meetings. I'm sure many of those keyboard warriors who are hating on you on other boards would be quite different in real life, and as Haso (surprisingly accurately) has said - much of the attention may be due to your posting style.

We've got a great board and I just feel bad for the sport of AFL when I visit other ones.
