We're a long way away from knowing that Polec is a loss to us...One decent game is not a career so let's take a valium before we run sobbing into the streets.

As TBD said Robbo already looks like a win... and if his form and body are any indication then that supposed gap we'll have on our list will be pretty damn small to with Aish, Robbo and hopefully Taylor stepping up pretty well straight away.

Now...where to fit some venting in there...

So Walker got 1 week for that throw into the boundary line. Thats strange because l remember seeing Rich get 2 weeks for that exact same incident with someone last season. Surely they wouldnt be favouring one team over the other?

None of those are free. You have to include labour costs.

Hence why my original post was aimed at Steel, his paid labour is to provide that service to the club, the means to end is very low cost these days. I acknowledge that he is finding his feet and that is fine, however.. IMO we have blown a chance to push membership on the back of the board stoush and the momentum that Leighs original Tweet started. The site is also currently poorly run in that there is often nothing for 3 days then 4 articles in an hour. I personally think that the club needs to improve the way it delivers its brand. But its a work in progress hey..

You'd be fighting a losing battle. It didn't make good reading to really look into any of the claims last year made about the go home 5... The rumors just added fuel to the fire that the Lions were a basket case and that suited the AFL media hounds perfectly.

You're doing it wrong.

The previous administration was derelict in their duty and allowed fair too much to go on. Any negative sentiments are a result of decisions made by the previous administration. Any successes are purely our's, e.g. fantasy leagues, Roster Watch, game previews, and so on.

But seeing this is a vent thread... why can't you make your jokes a bit more joke like? I'm sick of these posts that are jokes hidden as sensible logical posts! It's not like it's hard to tell which are which on this board...anything Haso posts is serious, POBT us a first class joker, TG only ever posts facts, Tom is someone who is flat and lifeless when he posts, and Skoob you're just never sure about...

I hate it when you read through a thread and find a post that you really want to respond to with a post that could be construed as 'playing the poster' a touch more than 'playing the post', only to find the mods have closed said thread probably in anticipation of poster-playing posts.
