[Yesterday]

JB being chaired off by these two spud imposters was about if for me this season...can't be bothered with it any longer. It represents where the club is at right now and was sad to see that none of our few experienced players decided to give the great man a shoulder to rest on for his 250th game. Adcock captain material....pffft!!! Patfull??? C'mon guys, get serious

2 blokes with a combined tally of 5 clubs got the honour of 'chairing' off the great Browny.WTF were our longer serving blokes? I was stunned.

Just happy Lisle wasn't given the honour..would have panicked and dropped him for sure.

As discussed in regards to Browny being chaired off. Two points to vent for mine.

1. Someone, somewhere, should have known that the 14,000ish Lions fans who actually attended, would have loved to have actually seen the Guard of Honour and the chairing off on the Big Screens. Instead we get details about the buses... Someone really dropped the ball.

2. Speaking of dropping the ball, why did our senior blokes not chair off JB? Piss poor effort from Patfull, Rocky, Redden and Jed. Just woeful, stop feeling sorry for yourselves and show some damn respect to the bloke who has put his body through so much for the club!

I saw that in the first quarter, he then proceeded to kick it OOTB.

From the bits and pieces I've seen, he's meant to be on Gray who's been very good.

Yeah, comments like this in my opinion don't deserve to be ignored just because they're in the vent thread.

How any Lions fan could think that Rocky isn't working for the team is beyond me. He's working harder than anyone else out there. Comfortably so. As for the Vossy thing, let's not go spreading crap about players that's blatantly not true. Rocky only even considered the Demons offer in the off season for a second because of how disillusioned he was with Voss's sacking, so you couldn't be further from the truth.

This thread is for venting. Not rumour mongering and defamation. Just because it's the vent thread doesn't mean there aren't any rules. Lift your game.

I'm not looking for an argument, like you said it's the vent thread. That said there were numerous articles that touched on his alleged involvement in Vossie's sacking. I believe where there is smoke there is fire and can't tolerate that sort of treatment of a club legend like Voss. It does appear Rockcliff will be the next captain and whilst that disappoints me it won't stop me supporting the club I love. But I won't support his captaincy.
