I would just like to add that I posted that being called Grandpa is not an insult. I am not one for a start so a silly attempt at insult but no doubt will love and enjoy that when that event eventuates. I understand that the joy is being able to give the kids back.

Isn't it bad enough to watch Yeo continue with the form and promise that he showed at the Lions and have to endure watching Polec blossom at Port without the commentators rubbing our noses in it by speculating how crummy we at the Lions must feel about it?...and not just on game days.

I wonder for how many years they intend to keep reminding us about what we know and give rival fans a giggle at the bargains they got.

The good news is that there are only 3 more of the GH5 to arc up and improve on what they did for us.

Bloody oath... I watched lasts night game purely as a neutral supporter to just watch a good contest and not worry about the Lions problems. But yeah, I had to sit through lions bashing yet again. I will add it hurts watching Darling play so well after we strangely past on him... at least the commentators haven't picked up on that

Right...I have double checked that I took my Ace Inhibitors and Beta Blockers and Aspirin and Lipitor and Sotocor for the day before I vent...one can't be too careful at 82.

I supported the Queensland Rugby League team from 1946 to 1982 versus NSW before State of Origin started...during those 36 years they did not win one annual series of games and most years they were WALLOPED...still barrack for them and will this year when they are looking for 9 series wins in a row...luvly stuff.

I have been a Bears/Lions supporter from day one and will till I die come what may and no matter how many good players leave or are poached...if we can keep goi

I think those stats are kept for the teams as I have seen them quoted before on TV occasionaly, but I don't think they're readily available for the public.

Anyway, it is still the same issue year after year, we don't have any other commanding presence in the forward 50 besides Brown.

Watching Henderson kick 5 goals 3 tonight was doing my head in (at least I tipped Carlton).

While this has been a fun roving discussion, it's time to bring this derail to an end. If you want to discuss the nature of support feel free to start a new thread rather than continue to derail this one. While doing so, avoid the personal attacks.

On that, remember that this is a thread that's meant for irrational venting and not debates. If you want to debate, start a new thread.

Personally, the argumentative nature of this thread recently is getting fairly tiresome and is defeating the purpose of the thread in the first place.
