Not so much a vent as a mild gripe- I always enjoy a Brown interview but perhaps interviewing Jed after his fantastic game and his first win as sole captain may have been more appropriate.

How about a couple of the golden clangers that nearly cost us the game last night.

First Adcok - loved his game, but trying to take a Capper mark in the backline in the fourth quarter was beyond ridiculous. On TV you could clearly see Leppa mouth the words "what the **** was that????"

The second was Merrett in the fourth as well I think, having gone back to help in defence he chipped a kick 10 metres that turned over into a Saints goal. What on earth would make someone think a 10m kick from your defensive goal line is a good decision???

With so many youngsters, we virtually need mistake free footy from our experienced types. We got that for most of the game but things got pretty ragged late.
