1. Brisbane - They are ready. Won't lose at home and have added tremendous talent to an already good team. Best team in it for mine
2. Melbourne - The addition of Hunter will be a masterstroke. They were cooked come finals last year. Wont make that mistake again
3. Richmond - Have loaded up for one last crack with Riewoldt, Cotchin, Martin. Have improved their list dramatically on last year
4. Geelong - No reason they cant win it again
5. Sydney - Best kids in the competition. Will be there abouts again
6. Carlton - Best spine in the competition. Have to play finals and probably win one
7. Fremantle - Kids getting better, winning a final last year helps.
8. Western Bulldogs - Very solid forward line and midfield. English to be AA ruck

9. Collingwood - Overachieved in 2022. If Darcy Cameron gets injured the slide will be even worse.
10. Port Adelaide - Just not enough for mine. Will improve over time with JHF, Rozee, Butters coming along but still holes in the back line everywhere.
11. Gold Coast - Should be aiming for higher than this but don't think they are better than any of the teams above them
12. West Coast - Old heads returning will help no end. Not enough kids showing talent to push them any higher though.
13. Adelaide - Will improve. Dangerous at home. Forward line looking solid now
14. Essendon - A nothing list. Neither coming or going. Some departures at seasons end too.
15. North Melbourne - Some green shoots will show this year - Improvement will be shown
16. GWS - A mile off it. Solid midfield but not much else
17. St.Kilda - Trouble early with injuries. Nowhere near enough avenues to goal. Need a rebuild under Ross
18. Hawthorn - They want to finish last

best spine LMFAO

Tell me one thats better?

If you are going off this then it ain't the best spine

FB: Jacob Weitering - Decent but makes the wrong decision under pressure
CHB: Lewis Young - What has he done?
C: Patrick Cripps - Star obviously but can his body go untouched in 2023?
CHF: Charlie Curnow - Star
FF: Harry McKay - Overrated, bullies bad teams and gets found out when it matters.

I would have Geelong, Brisbane and Richmond better

Harsh on Cripps and Mckay.

Cripps is the best player in the game at the moment and Mckay is consistently good.

Mcgovern training as KPD at the moment, same role as his brother.

Best because he won the prestigious medal given by rorting umpires?

The same spine failed to play finals in 2022, won't change in 2023 with no addictions.

McGovern is too small to hold down a KP spot, suited as 3rd man up

Add no depth to the squad and you will see a n average team

They play finals in 2023. Comfortably.

LOL, what he wanted to say is Melbourne is better, but he knows their not.

Anyone who says Weitering make bad/wrong decisions under pressure hasn't watched him enough.

Curnow and McKay are miles better than any combination of McDonald, Brown, or van Rooyen.

But I'm taking May, Petty (or Lever) and Oliver over Weitering, Young and Cripps every day of the week.

Did i mention Melbourne having a better spine??? We have a shocking Spine forward.

Weitering has a shocking one on one win/loss ratio which tells you enough, another soft Blue defender

I would have Carltons ahead of all of those, particularly going forward.

Lots of queries on some of those players of age that you’ve listed and the fact that you’ve got Stewart as a Centre half back.

Same said with Carlton mate

No real CHB, a FB who isn't in the Top 30 for one on one wins
KPF's who had a great 2022 but still go missing when it matters

Ages of the Lions and Blues spine are practically the same. Would take the Blues over Cats and Tigers but the Lions are comfortably ahead in all areas of the ground

McKay/Curnow >> Daniher/Gunston or Hipwood.

Blues ahead of all.
