Hopefully there could be. I think it would be unlikely though considering they have their own ground at Mineral Resources Park and the AFLW season will now fall in the summer.

Lathlain would be fine for most of their games, but they could use the WACA for finals games
Why wouldn't they just use Optus if they made a grand final? Lathlain would still be fine for the earlier finals, too.
Nah, AFLW is played in summer, and the WACA still has a cricket pitch. It would be more trouble than it's worth.

I'd like to see the WACA host a regular WAFL slot each Friday night under lights with teams rotating so they would all play a home game at the WACA

And how do the clubs replace the money they miss out on from their own bars, functions, etc? Plus pay for the cost of using the WACA?
Only the WACA would have a redevelopment coincide with the start of the cricket season....
The WACA isn't hosting anything significant the rest of the summer to impact anything

Will never happen but I've sometimes thought a WA3 side would be best placed playing most of their games outside of Perth Stadium initially as a point of difference and I think the WACA done up to it's old specs would be ideal, but anyway.

always loved how if you sat on the right of the stand, left looking at it, you were facing away from the middle of the ground. such a bizarre horrible ground for spectators

Iconic Light Tower Upgrade
The next stage of the WACA Ground Improvement Project (WGIP) will see the iconic light towers upgraded with new LED coloured lights, in a massive operation that requires the 17 metre high steel headframes to be taken down and transported off site.
I think the previous redevelopment of the early 2000s was regrettable and short-sighted.
And now they're tearing themselves apart over a ******* statue.....
