Heh. You ever see a movie called Jacob's Ladder? I'd actually be amused if they tacked on that kind of ending. If you haven't seen the movie track it down - and don't search the internet for spoiler-inducing commentary about it either.

It's a bloody good movie:thumbsu:
Not big on horror movies but don't mind undead stuff. It's a hallucination type movie yeah? Not sure it's at the top of my list.

4 Eps watched since this afternoon. Probably get another 1 or 2 in before lights out. Will finish season 4 tomorrow. Really liking the post prison splinter groups and the character development because of it.

It's a goddamned shame we live in a world that movie isn't requisite and has to be recommended.

I always think if Fight Club has a sister it's Black Swan but Jacob's Ladder is their daddy.

Well, I knew a series regular was (possibly) going to die (based on a news site spoilerish headline) but it was interesting to note that the show kinda seemed set up for that, as they peeled most of the main characters off into dangerous/lonely situations

Something else I noticed while watching was that Glenn was the first person we saw after the 'Previously on AMC's TWD'. Does this mean anything? And, has this occurred previously with other deaths?

As sad as I felt about the 'death', I would be even more pissed off if they ran from it. Also **** me Nicholas was a useless campaigner.

Btw, was anyone able to pick out the colour of the clothes they wear tearing apart into? It looked like the colour of the jacket that Glenn was wearing to me.

I'm thinking the only way they can plausibly let Glen survive this is if someone saves him. The way that episode went, we followed most of them at different times. There's was no continuity. Maybe Rick gets out of his situation and gets to Glen. Maybe Michonne gets back home and still gets back to Glen in time. I think it's obvious he lives, but he won't do it alone.

There was that walkie talkie convo when Glenn told Rick what he was about to do. And Michonne looking up at the sky expecting to see smoke from the fire that Glenn was supposed to start - suggests to me that enough time had passed since they separated, enough for Glenn to end up under all those walkers. Also Glenn not responding when Rick tried to contact him would also suggest that he was under the herd at the time.

Although I agree I can't see how Glenn comes out alive by himself even if he hides under the bin. Unless the walkers gets drawn away again in another direction? I am still hoping its legit, yeah it would be a shit way to go but IMO it would be a very effective way of demonstrating the hopelessness of the whole situation. It would prove that nobody is immune regardless of how long they have survived or how good they might be at it. Reckon it's good for TWD to remind us of that reality every now and then.

Glenn will survive by playing dead, then smearing himself in Nicholas' entrails most likely, and sneaking out undetected. The convergence of zombies in that alley makes a rescue attempt improbable, how could anyone even spot Glenn down there?

Glenn will survive and turn into a new man, and not trust new people. Kill people who might threaten his group. Then Knock Maggie up which will lead to him returning to normal Glenn.

Also nextweeks Morgan episode is 90mins [65-70 without ads] Seems like it will be a filler that could be done in like 25 mins tops.

If the zombies are eating Nicholas then why would his entrails repel them?

I dunno. He looked in pain and done to me. He wasn't panicking looking for somewhere to roll. But Talking Dead seemed to make it pretty clear he wasn't dead.

Fight Club and Black Swan you say?

Pleasantly surprised by Black Swan. I'm in....or should I say 'up'? (the ladder)

I think that the only way that they can have Glenn survive is if the herd is drawn away by some loud noise or distraction and if that happens I doubt it will come from any of the usual group/comrades. I think it will either be some more of these Wolves who create the distraction and then capture Glenn or it will be some new character(s) who grab him (for whatever reason).

I reckon after Rick's ride pimping taking out those Wolves at the side of the RV we've seen the last of the Wolves. They were the last survivors from ep 2 and all the established Wolves are now dead.

I think there will be a serious diversion(maybe loud music) that turns the walkers around and someone will open the gates and kill the remaining stragglers while glenn crawls under the dumpster (which has a higher than normal clearance).

My guess is it'll be the group that trapped daryl and the gay dude (whether its high level wolves or a group that controls the wolves)

The trap was designed to get people stuck on the top of the bin.

Once again Rick is 100% right and justified in what he says, but nah lets get all sooky because he offers the very sensible idea of leaving these ****ing liabilities behind if they can't keep up. Here's an idea, stop sooking and try to prove the guy wrong by not only keeping up, but maybe even not tripping over your own feet or shooting your mates. #TeamRick

Can't believe all this "Glen lives" talk. Guy is toast, if he survives it will be the single stupidest thing that has ever happened on this show and thats saying something. Pretty crap way for one of your originals to go out :(

Alexandria people should be on the Carlton list they are that useless! :p
Haha came in to post exactly that, would get a game down at Ikon Park no probs.

He has to be dead, you simply can't survive that. Even if the other guys body was across him the walkers would be into Glenn's legs, arms and even head, he is a live meal just lying there FFS!
Exactly. I mean come on, we even get a good clear close-up of his exposed head as the zombies start to chow down on Nicholas, then he starts screaming. Would have his face eaten off in 5 seconds flat.

Wait so whats with the "No Spoilers" tag on the thread. Is it no future spoilers or do people like me who watch it when it first airs on Foxtel have to use tags because some people are too stupid to avoid threads before watching it.
Umm as far as I can tell nothing has changed, ie. if you haven't watched it, don't come into the thread. Which is the way it should be :thumbsu:

I think Glenn should be dead and it would make a lot more sense if he is, but I'm fully expecting him to survive it. Jon Snow I have no idea, doubt we've seen the end of him though.

You can see in the gif Glenn is right near the dumpster and as others have said there is a gap under it, the other bloke is on top of him Glenn will 100% end up inside the dumpster and survive
