The war against renewable energy

A cynic might suggest the batteries are subsidising the losses on the Tesla car range.

It’ll be interesting to see how this plays out. There is no doubt batteries will play an ever increasingly important role in our lives. Just think about how many batteries the average home has today vs 1980 (laptops, iPhones etc etc). So the home and car battery is just an extension of that.

Personally I think the best manufacturer will win, rather than the best battery, when it comes to cars. Add to that the lowest barriers to entry jurisdiction, cheap power and lower sovereign risk jurisdiction will win.

So a GM/ Ford/ BMW in partnership with a Chinese company, operating in Asia will likely dominate.

The EU and especially the UK are finished long term unless they change their import processes.

Canberra is due to cop its coldest day in almost two decades.

Sky News Weather chief meteorologist Tom Saunders told news.com.au Canberra would hit a high of 9C tomorrow which is the coldest May day in 18 years.

For this early in the year it would be the coldest day in 48 years,” he said.

Looks like the global warming bubble is popping.

With a new solar minimum that is reportedly likely to be worse than the Maunder Minimum it looks like all the alarmism is also out the window.

So far so-called climate science has failed to deliver a single prediction that has come true, nor a model that matches reality.

Watch the alarmists though claim victory for reducing temperatures as people shiver with no power because oil and gas exploration ended our self-sufficiency.

You still have absolutely no idea of the science behind climate change, keep nailing bits of wood together for your day job because anything that requires some intelligence to understand is beyond you.

You don't really understand Climate Change do you?

I wonder if you will ever realise that Weather is a different thing

Your comment exposes how poorly the climate change argument has been prosecuted, religous zeal & 'the science is in' do little to convince any thinking person.

Saw Richo on Fox talking to Simon Holmes A Court about the role of coal in the future of Aus East Coast power generation, both talking facts, no grandstanding - this should be a template for the climate change protagonists.

No, what it does is not convince the person who can't understand science. Aka the person who believes what Andrew Bolt tells them.

You are simply making excuses. So people who cant understand science (lots of people) wont buy arguments put by those who think like your good self - maybe you should lift your game?

Maybe this will help those that don't even want to be informed?

It's more people like you have a closed mind and ignore the very basics of science.
