He doesn’t, but a response of, “if the club want to go down the path of trading me then we’ll have to see what happens” doesn’t really scream “I want to stay”.

Sorry. I was talking about the rumour of Lockett being knocked back in order to help Mark Richardson succeed. If there is no truth to it, it's a disgrace that it continues to be told.

Yeah but it seems that it's hard to get people to accept it. It doesn't help that McAllister in that book he wrote insinuates that Wayne was heavily involved in the vote not to get Lockett. The inference it was to help Mark.
It's total BS. If ppl knew Wayne, a great Collingwood champion and great bloke, they'd know that he would never do that.
I think we would be better served going after May than Lynch also,we could do with both but if we can only get 1 then May is the one we should chase.I think we really missed Cox on the weekend and we need him this weekend desperately I think our attack has looked pretty good with Cox and Mihocek as tall options if Moore re signs he can go through there as another tall option.Defense wins matches and we need more cover down back particularly at KPD,Lynch would be a luxury but May is a necessity.
Darcy Moore is the bloke we need to signed before either of them though so 1) Moore 2) may 3)lynch.
May could cost a lot more in trade value as Lynch is an RFA and GCS may decide not to match any offer because they will get a higher compensation pick than we or any other club could offer.
I think we’ve done our work and are now just sitting back keeping our cards close to our chest.
Lynch and management told to keep talking to others but not to leak anything
