I reckon Ed has puppeted Tom Brown (he's good mates with his old man isn't he?) into saying Richmond are leading the race in every single media appearance he has. Keeps the heat off us.
It’s the only explanation I can think of with Tom Browne. Up until this year his reporting on Collingwood had been largely favourable, but this year he’s been very anti pies, despite him being a Collingwood supporter. I have a similar theory, in that Ed has been feeding him stories in order to make supporters over the moon at the end of the year when Moore re-signs and Lynch signs on. That’s my tinfoil hat theory anyway...

Gee it's weird, I admit I randomly check the Richmond board from time to time, but when I do it's just "Pies board saying this or that"

Better off getting the shit talking first hand haha
To be honest we seem to do our share of talking about their board here. It's ******* odd! And tedious.

He ain't a backman. Haven't watched a lot of Suns games last couple of years but don't get the Lynch hype. He's hardly a Buddy.

I'd rank Franklin, Kennedy, Brown -even an in form Daniher (scrub this year) ahead.
Up until this year I’d have agreed about Moore, but after watching him be the Hawks and Eagles in defence, I disagree. I think he can be elite in defence.

Same boat. Watching him doing it live last week I knew he was going to be a defender. Give him 20 games in defence and we will be laughing.

If you look at a lot of Lynch’s standout games they have been against awful teams.

Why don’t we go for Peter Wright, cheaper and he has struggled to get a game this year.

We could offer them pick 40 like they did for Witts

Wright hasn’t struggled to get games, he was injured. He was straight back in the seniors after a couple of neafl games. He’s also contracted, so they wouldn’t let him go for peanuts.

OK quick heads up guys.
Been talking to my sources in Istanbul and the word is that he is absolutely Collingwood bound.
As you all know his whole family are Collingwood tragics or Collingwood ferals or whatever you want to label us lovely people.
My sources tell me that his father is still pissing himself laughing at the tiger melts when we got Treloar. He has instructed his son and his manager to leak info which would suggest he is 100% going to Richmond. His father not only demands his son goes to Collingwood but wants to do the ultimate troll in the process.
All I can say is....
Respect!!
Will be epic if true

Lynch manager on radio said he hasn’t made his mind up yet so the journalists no jack crap
Unless something drastic changes, I doubt that.

I reckon Lynch would've made up his mind 6 months ago, it is now just seeing if anything (either $, or club performances etc.) trumps that.
I also reckon that the club in the box seat would know his position. (Though GC and the other clubs wouldn't necessarily know).

Now which club that is, the rest of us won't know until trade season. The AFL and the footy media are not ready for someone to announce this before the end of the season. (With Danger-to-Geelong, which was widely known, being the exception)

Don't AFL rules stop players from announcing the club they are going to go too before the FA/trade period? No way Lynch is staying, so of course nothing is going to be shared in the media at this point regarding where he'll play in 2019.

Two of our biggest losses for the year with the most points we have conceeded, by the way.

He might have looked good getting the footy, but his composure and ball use was poor in both games - 12 turnovers from 25 disposals in total. Cost us goals each way.
