OH HE GIVES PAUL GEORGE A HI-5 AT MID COURT

Sorry, I had to get it out.

Houston are another title pretender.

See that 4th quarter? Great comeback for the rockets ......... laughable that people expect us to be perfect so early in the season, we dont look like contenders right now, but we will be by the end of the season barring any major injuries

if it wasn't the knicks, you'd think it was Photoshopped.

hey brahsef

no not yet. waiting for mrs north to watch last weeks ep and then we can watch new WD together whilst we hold hands

Well underrated player. Just as important to Blazers as Aldridge and Lillard IMO (who are both great). BleacherReport article this morning suggested trading him for Asik though

Shane Meade

Someone help me with my laughable basketball knowledge outside of Minnesota: Mbah a Moute for Williams, good or bad deal?

Getting rid of Williams = good
Getting Mbah a Moute = good
Getting LRMAM for Williams = not so good

LRMAM can guard 1-3, played pretty good on CP3 the other night. The issue is, he was acquired this offseason for a future 2nd rounder. I would have thought Williams had more value than that.
Not sure what Kings are doing, sure they've added talent, but why... Now have Thompson, Patterson, Landry, Hayes and Williams at the 4 spot. Unless they're planning on putting Williams in as a 3, in which case, god help them. Would love to see Thompson on a good team. (Perfect third big for Clips)

Sacramento are just stockpiling a bunch of average role-player power forwards.
Landry, Thompson, Hayes, Patterson and now Williams. Combine them all together and you have a competent power forward.

I tend to think it's one of those 'can't lose' trades for the Kings though.

If Williams turns his career around with them, then it's gravy. And if he doesn't they haven't given up anything and probably increase their chances of landing a top-5 pick in the Draft.
