The Weighty Issue

I don't really mind whether a guy is skinny or solidly built, as long as he's a decent person. :) You know - basic manners, faithful, honest.......... do they exist. :(

As far as Im concerned they dont unfortunately! BUT I still believe that one day every girl will find her prince and live happily ever after! I just think you have to kiss a few frogs before you get your prince!

I must admit to being attracted to slightly smaller slightly chubby (great for hugging it seems:D) chicks. But in general in proportion is good, rakes are not, just within reason. My first gf wasn't "slim" but she wasnt fat either. Id like to say looks dont matter but to be quite frank they do, and fat just isnt attractive to me(however one of my friends seems to LOVE fat chicks so some guys like that)

Personality is a major factor though, a chick can be about normal in looks but be MILES ahead of drop dead gorgeous chicks just due to personality.

The whole looks don't matter thing... People say they don't, but when it comes down to the crunch they'll take the person who is 'hot' over the person who is not so attractive but a generally better person. I'm guilty of this myself. Nobody can say this isn't true either, but if you honestly can say looks don't matter, then you're a top bloke/chick.

I have known seem really decent loking chicks who are great people, but also some that are so up themselves it's indescribable. Same way, alot of my chick friends are 'large', most are great mates, a few though are unbelievably bitchy.

As for looks, skinny as a rake... no thanks. Can't say I've been out with a 'curvy' chick, but there are some cute ones of seen, and I wouldn't turn that down. But generally slim with a nice smile and nice eyes.

As far as physical appearance goes, the body, whether they have big breasts, a nice arse, etc. doesn't concern me too much.

A cute, pretty face is considerably more important.

Body size doesn't bother me, as long as they're healthy. I've been with a 'big' guy (tall and well built) and a guy that was pretty scrawny.. so much so that a hug would hurt due to his bones sticking into you  Both were great guys though.
I know a lot of very good looking guys and they're really good friends.. but some of them definately believein the whole 'birds of a feather stick together' philosophy as u only ever see them with "hot" girls, oh well.. good luck to them :)

I agree with you BA...I dont really care, just aslong as their not obese. Yes they have to be nice, that is a priority!Im 5'7-5'8 and weigh about 73-75 kgs. Obviously Im not skinny but because Im quite tall (for a girl) Im not overweight. All in all Im preety happy with my body
(a shock as most girls my age arnt I know!)

Carly I am 5' 7 and I weigh 66 kilos. I am not skinny, I am not fat either. But I have always wanted to be one of those petite little things. I really hate my height. I look at the tiny, petite girls and wish I was like them. Have you ever wanted that?

Not really, for a long time Ive rowed so My height and my weight has been an asset when it comes to that kind of thing. Im just a solidly built type. Theres nothing wrong with it, I feel and look good most of the time. Overall Im preety happy with my body!

Girlies and boys, I am 1.73 metres (haven't the foggiest what that is in feet) and weigh 65 kgs. In over a year I have lost 13 kgs and still want to get thinner, but have realised today when a few friends have said 'don't lose anymore' that I am fine the way I am.

I think boys prefer some curves, just not too many. Whatever weight you are comfortable seeing yourself at is the right weight for you.

Just my positive thought for the day.....

Yep your right. But remember its all relative to your build!

True, but someone may feel good about themselves being heavier than what the Body Mass Index says they should be. Just depends.

And for me, being labelled a heiffer by Spidey (where is she?) was a turning point. Not really, just kidding. Wanted to lose the weight to feel healther, and now I do. The end!

:D

*claps in carlyp's direction* Hon that is wonderful, good for you. I had health issues which forced me to lose weight - specifically a diabetic diet which had the weight just fall off. **** food though!

And for the first time ever I am now a Size 12. Size 10 at Rockmans but they have larger size clothes apparently. I used to be a Size 16-18.

Still ****ing single though! How frustrating.
