No.
Edited to add : WA Macedonians are generally proud of their heritage and wouldn't change their surnames to Edwards.
....and.... no family names in the sons' christian names. So, not Macedonian.
Yeah sometimes they do. Its not about pride, more about being able to pronounce the name.
Not that I would think Edwards to be the first choice. Although it is a reasonably common name?

Interesting about Corryn Rayney. She had a 'friend'.. ok then... does that explain the phone tapping and suspicions a bit clearer...and provide a rather clear motive for murder... but may also add another unconsidered suspect?

Has there been news, Bunnie?

Meanwhile I've been looking again at the MM footage. There is something distinctive about the back of MM's head. I can't work out quite what it is. I'm very surprised nobody else from the hotel identified him, though.

Did Mr Rainey make a habit of ringing in on his wife at work?
Or was it a one off?

Saliva but no DNA?

Justice Martin said it was possible Mrs Rayney was the victim of a sexually motivated attack, which he said might suggest more than one person being involved.

Justice Martin said adding weight to an alternative killer theory was the fact Mrs Rayney’s body was found with her fly undone, the zipper stuck, her belt removed and her boots taken off.

Her shirt had been torn and pushed up beyond the level of her bra and saliva had been found on her neck and the entrance to her vagina.

Justice Martin was scathing of the prosecution for failing to disprove a sexually motivated attack.

This says to me someone dug a hole with a long handled shovel, not overly common for gardening. Digging a hole with short handled, the person would not fit in and dig. Someone has picked her up under the arms, face to face, walked her over, and plonked her in backwards. Not enough strength to pick her up sideways. Now known as the Kings park waltz.
Who owns a long handled shovel? Not a common household item. Square-mouth or round?
They took considerable risk in burying her in Kings part because the ground is riddled with roots which would take an axe to cut through. A very risky random act.
Running over a bollard is another considerable risk. Being stuck would leave the person in immediate crimes eye next morning.
If someone purchased a long handled shovel in the preceding day at a hardware. That is premeditated.
Would you like our top of the line model sir?

If someone deliberately placed the body between the car left kerbside and Corryns residence, they must have known where Corryn resided.

So, Pearson was employed by Rayney to install listening devices but on the stand says he can't remember anything, stresses out so much he just walks off it and Justice John Chaney breaks early saying he was becoming “concerned about the level of stress” being displayed by Mr Pearson as he was quizzed about his role in Rayney case.
What's Pearson freaking out about? He didn't get a Telstra tech in to install the phone taps .... did he?
EDIT: Throw away line, that's all it is.

Being a police employee carrying out illegal activities in a murder case would be rather stressful. Talk about conflict of interest.

The logical points to the husband, but the place card is odd. Its like someone deliberately placed a card from an event weeks prior so the body would be found. A pointer as such. Bad luck or perfect set up?

With all the media attention, someone may well have picked up that card leading them to the body. AKA extremely fruitful circumstantial evidence.
Rayney means Royalty Queen, and she was in Kings Park. Must be a few lawyers around with knowledge of Latin.
The irony someone chose Lovekin drive as a burial site.

What Does Rayney Mean and History? Form of Regina, from the Latin regina, meaning “queen” or “lady”.

Has Rayney ever owned a long handled shovel? Something sharp enough to cut through roots? Someone had to buy a long handled shovel? Apparently it took 25 minutes to dig the hole.

Can you imagine someone passing by. Evening, evening.
Missed all the cameras. $50000 fine for damaging flora in Kings park.
Number plate photoshopped by newspaper, or altered by perp?
Smashed over the bollard. Damaged the oil sump and other sub vehicle mechanics. To damage a sump and knock over a bollard, you have to be well fanging in knowledge you are going to make it without setting off air bags and damaging radiator. Hence reverse. Vehicle knowledge in crime scene.
Go the Falcon!!! Try that in ya Rio bubble car.

Not even a dent in the bumper. Must have reversed in. Considerable reversing skills. Dent in back passenger door opposite side the body.

Corryn Rayney's car abandoned on Kershaw Street.

I clearly need to do some reading on this. Pearson is a civilian working for the cops?

I note you have made the classic mistake of thinking the freeway went as far as you have there in 96. This is why people have continuously pointed out using a UBD/Gregorys from the time. Based on this are you then sure your quickest route was also available in 96?
Its a guideline. And its not really using the freeway. Everyone knows its a contemporary guesstimate. It demonstrates possible routes, which could be any number of alternatives if off the main roads were included. We simply don't know which way a perp may have travelled.

If you would care to get out your 1994 UBD directory and determine popular routes within the 30 seconds increments, that would be fantastic. Im going with a lot of it within 3 minutes of each other especially in the dead of night.
As you can see here optional routes within a minute of each other. If the accused had opted to head in that direction after facing north on Woolcoot road.

It says Rayney hired the police cable guy. Pearson was working for the Police departments IT department at the time Rayney hired Pearson allegedly.

The trial started with two charges levelled at Mr Rayney – that he “aided, abetted, counselled or procured” surveillance specialist and then-WA Police IT worker Timothy Pearson to install a phone tapping device on his family’s Como home phone line in July 2007.

Clearly, Corryn Rayney had sex with someone around the time of her murder. But they are not telling they did.

*A hole was dug as a re-enactment of the crime in 25 minutes. Surely a long handled shovel. Not a common item in a professionals house. None the less sharp to cut through the rooted ground. Hit a decent diameter root and you would be starting again unless you had an axe.

Mrs Rayney, a Supreme Court registrar and mother of two, disappeared after a bootscooting class (AKA line dancing) in Bentley on August 7, 2007. Her body was found buried in Kings Park eight days later.
(Imbolc August 8, 2007)

Robyn Santen - August 8, 2015 (Imbolc equinox) UWA Thesis (Limitations of ASR for Wetland Restoration in
the Perth Basin) *Anyone with seasonal knowledge would know this milestone in the year.

Julie Cutler went Winter equinox. From an abduction point of view. That is a pretty skilled abductor.

Dan, have you hit any decent diameter roots lately?

Ohhh god no... don't answer that. .. lalalalalalalala

...anyway...
Interesting that Mrs Rayney had evidence of at least oral sex before her murder (consensual or not, who knows) and none of this made the news, just that she was the good dutiful wife and he was a phone tapping, gambling, ogre monster husband.

They should have a DNA profile then. Maybe a familial? Poor Brad , done for another ;)

But it should either eliminate Rayney or incriminate. The DNA cant be ignored

Not any $50000 Kings park roots *The fine for damaging park flora
Number x trees = $50000 a pop

Paul Anthony Clare liked Kings Park. *Not suggesting he was involved

Id like to see what DNA existed inside Corryns car other than Corryns and well, Loyds DNA.

In the picture, her zipper is broke, shirt up to bra (May explain Kings Park waltz). Were the clothes different in the grave to what she wore line dancing in Bentley?

Why bury in a city park? Leave the car at a mates house? Could have been anywhere.

Is that someone trying to make it look like Rayney? Is that a confident killer?

Police say the woman, who was 17 years old at the time, was walking through Rowe Park in Claremont when she was restrained and forced into a vehicle in the early hours of February 12, 1995.
The car was driven about a kilometre away to Karrakatta Cemetery where she was raped, police allege.
Police say the distraught woman then ran to a pharmacy at a nearby hospital, believed to be the Hollywood Private Hospital, where staff arranged for tests to be conducted.

Hey Bunnie Now I have myxomapostis

I spoke to my dad. He said there were no chains or gates on Karrakatta at the time of the rape.

I think the pharmacy might have been an internal hospital pharmacy. So they did do a rape test.

All these murderers waiting around sipping lattes just waiting for the optimal kill time. Stroke of genius
They must be hippies that just do human sacrifice on quarterly when they do their BAS statements. Its the stress of BAS statements. He's behind on his GST payments. Its sets him off.
1988 was Bi Centenary celebrations. Doesnt like the sound of muskets and canon fire.

They found the DNA of a sex offender on a cigarette butt outside the Rayney's house. My theory would be if it wasn't her husband, that she was jumped and her car stolen with her in it. Two involved, with the moving from car to grave the cards fell out of the car. Car was damaged, oil leaking out everywhere over some time, it started to overheat, klunk and lose power so they had to ditch it.

I don't know much about cars but I am experienced in cracking the head by driving with no oil.

DNA butt man made a phone call to his sister from a public phone box near by. I still don't understand some leaving Corryns car outside Rayneys mates house in Kershaw street. (Thatll get him) This would insinuate stalking. It certainly looks a reasonable attempt at implicating Lloyd.
No mates DPP prosecutor.
Despite twice being cleared, he is still being targeted. While on trial for phone tapping, his home was egged and a dead crow left on his driveway — the ninth such incident.

Does anyone know where I can buy some dead crows? I need some for few peoples driveways
Do you get bakers dozen? Thanks in advance. Someone here must know.

I know a guy that is well known for cutting another mans grass and would posses a long handled shovel. Not sure if anyone recognises him but I'll just leave this identikit sketch here.
Do you often strap a long handled shovel to your Fairmont roof? I guess it would fit in the boot? I often cart the mrs around in the boot.
What would she weigh? 70kg? Id just fling her in the back seat.

Jims mercenaries? I just cant keep up. The hire guys? Jims IT franchise to the police?

I can picture Loyd Rayney now reversing over a bollard and down a track at speed. He looks like a reversing type of guy in a tight sand bush track located in central city gardens. Lawyers drive around in reverse all the time. Imagine hitting that bollard and the mrs flicking up in the air. If you got stuck ont he bollard, talk about disaster.

Where should I park, I know, out front of my friends house. They'll never work out its me.

Because thats what someone from DPP with a hundred years of prosecution would do.

Funniest home videos? Try that in your Rio bubble car.

My long-handled shovel fits in the car. Mine is a trenching shovel, used to dig trenches for reticulation etc.
