I will make Mattdougie look like an pussy from day one
Surely you recent Kafkaesque posts on just about everything are already veering very close to a parody of MD efforts. I only hope its deliberate!

This is the same committee that had Monty as favourite
Now that looks like it won't fly with the media they have gone for Macca mark 11
But we are now into the 4 th year of development
Beveridge bring ps good solid technocrat knowledge
And maybe just maybe he can lead men when the environment is strong and supportive
Well the later we are fresh out of

Williams brings premiership experience, GWS connections, he ran a financially strapped and dysfunctional port Adelaide to a premiership, young players love him, he can sell the club almost as good as Sheedy
What is it we don't like about him - we all know he runs off the mouth and it s his way or no way

Well we have tried the nice consultative head in the sand approach and it bombed in our faces
Is nt this exactly what Melbourne did going from Bailey to Neeld
Unfortunately , the AFL will not save us as it did melbourne they will send us to Auckland

Stop thinking this appointment t thru like an accountant

We need a ****en leader not a learner we need a big personality not a diminutive one

WAKE UP FFS
Well half of that was absolute gibberish.

Again, you have no idea what Beveridge is like. He may be the next Alistair Clarkson for all we know. He could be a great leader. Again you're talking about things that you have no idea about. You don't know anything about Beveridge, so stop pretending like you do. He could be the perfect fit for us.

As for Williams, maybe he's not interested in the job. Maybe there's something going on behind the scenes that means he would be a horrible fit. Again, I don't know, and neither do you.

Gut feels? :p

The only coach I wouldn't want is Ayres, hasn't been in an AFL system for a while now

just wouldn't make sense to me if we made him the head coach, another role
definitely
Agree. If we can't get Thompson or Williams, I would be stoked with Ayres in a Senior position to oversee coaching function with either Sumich, Tudor or Beveridge as Coach.

Mate I'm insulted by that

I may indeed talk cr&p but yebiga has lost his marbles

At least my complaining had an end game in Maccas leaving

Where he is heading I have no idea :)

After further consideration
It must be bomber or Choco
Or I am definitely going mattdougie on the club
We have some great kids expectations are raised anything else is stupidity
And not interviewing Choco
Grant get your head out of iagos influence and find some balls

Hahah your doing well enough in your own Yebiga you don't need to reference me

I admit I've spoken some repetitive anti macca stuff but you my friend are taking it to another level

You've blamed every single human being for Maccas sacking except for the man himself.

I never called for the whole club to shut down or sack everyone as you do in random speeches from the pulpit.

Iago?? Can you not see the hypocritical tune to you saying that and then screaming for anarchy at the club

Ps on your best day you will never make me look like a pu$$y ;)

Love the passion mate, maybe now you start to understand why so many people felt helpless when "it" was our coach and why we kept "trolling"

Both names I'm hearing are Sumich and Beveridge. Top two candidates with Luke the preferred by Grant and the board, while Worsfold backed Sumich. For what it's worth, Darcy picked Tudor as his preferred candidate. The consensus from the guys I'm talking to is now Luke Beveridge though.

We didn't interview Williams and Ratten, nor did we ask Bomber. It was a 'you come to us' type scenario, and none of them did. Well played tbh. Why go begging?

I know nothing more about these guys than their resumes (except for Sumich - seen a few interviews of him. But whatever.)

So it's very hard for me to judge.

But reading about Beveridge doesn't chill me to the bone. And that's a good start.

Smells like another crash or crash-through scenario. We're starting to make a habit of these. And I don't mind that one bit.

Would much prefer Beveridge over Sumich but that's just personal opinion.

I would be very happy with a ''final two'' of Tudor or Beveridge. Tudor is my favourite but I could easily be talked into Beveridge.

Kind of funny he isn't even an option in our poll ^haha
