You've already been called out on your bullshit about Smith being fined for his rehab. Why would anyone believe you have "connections"

Call the club and ask if he missed a Monday morning rehab session hero

Call them and ask ten if he was fined for it

And in fact ask him when u see him yourself and then if you have the balls come and apologise

Even if that was the case, how exactly does missing one training session (for unknown reasons) mean that the players don't have faith in the coach?

I have no problems with people bringing up legitimate issues with the coaching regime in place, I just cannot stand the shit you sprout on here. No matter what anyone says to counter your arguments (or facts as you like to call them...) the only thing you can reply with is "i dnt agree wif ny of dat, but iz respect ur opininion". To be fair I could have missed some legitimate points you've raised because you've been on my ignore list for quite a while now, but for some strange reason I highly doubt that.

I hope to god your trolling because if not then geez... Surely you can not have such a burning hate for a man you've probably never met, that leads you to be this negative about footy. You claim to have been a member for 30 years, well if you really do watch the footy, you should probably give up because you obviously don't know what the **** you're watching if you can't even see signs of a gameplan in play, or truly believe some of the ridiculous predictions you've put out.

I would have thought that a "supporter" who has so many more negative things to say than positive thoughts, is in fact the opposite of a supporter.

Show me where MattDougie has provided any support to the club this year.

In fact the comment I made on clay not turning up to re Han was in reference to someone saying everyone was 100% being him and no disputes at all had happened but keep living in the past

And because I think the man can't coach I HATE HIM?? Is that your logic?? Really that's pathetic. Have you never net anyone in a position you think they can't do and then automatically hated him??

I stated 1000 times EVERY person I know that has met him says he is a very nice bloke but being a nice bloke doesn't mean you can coach and I don't hate him personally.

But keep pulling those bows mate

Lol we have won 3 bloody games, we are horrible to watch, last on membership ladder, can't draw a decent crowd mate how many positives can there be???

There are more negatives at out club than positives at the moment and my 5 full memberships and 2 x 3 games memberships are more than you have done to "support" MY club

Coz I don't blow wind up the clubs ass when I think they are doing a poor job at the moment doesn't make me any less a supporter than you

Any chance of the same happening to this thread?

I'm pretty sure that nothing new has been brought to it for about 80 or so pages.
Trust me, I've contemplated it many a times, but we need a dumpling ground for this crap and quite frankly I could not be bothered having to deal with a multitude of posts on the same topic. Plus the last time I closed the thread, it upset a few.

Anyhoo

I only like it because some of the more 'feisty' contributors stick to this thread and I don't need to be bashed for having an opinion in other threads :D

I don't particular care about who does or doesn't like McCartney, but I can speak for the mods collectively in saying that we're fed up with posters who resort to inflammatory attacks on individuals who don't subscribe to their mindset.

There is a way to go about it, and an obvious way not to. There are some astute posters who do not like the way things are going, but they don't digress their argument to a level of schoolyard antics

The way I see it.
Our forward structure is virtually nonexistent.
The midfield needs an explosive clearance player who plays inside, but predominantly outside.
Wil needs support desperately.
We need to not have everybody try to be Libba and Wal. ie: when all our players go after the ball at the same time,
even if we get the ball the opposition has the only players outside ready to receive it when we try to get it out of the pack.

While I like Stringer, Bonts etc., Constantly selecting kids in the draft who will take years before they will reach their best
just keeps pushing our window further out into the future. Sure in years to come our list might look good, but do the fans have
the time and patience to wait that long ?

I think this draft/trade period could be critical to our immediate future. Pick more 3-5 year development kids, and our existing
senior players will be gone, or at best on their last legs by the time our squad is ready to challenge seriously. We need to pick up
players who can come in straight away and add to our performances now, rather than in 3-4 years time.
I am not advocating a repeat of the years where we topped up with list cloggers, in vain hope of stealing a flag. But drafting/
trading in players that are ready now, rather than some time off in the future, that gives us the potential to move forward sooner
rather than later.
What would be so wrong with us selecting players like an O Wines type, who can have pretty much instant impact, without being one
season wonders.

Now as I have said before I remain hopeful, even if still on the fence re BMac. But I am not as charitable when it comes to our
forward and midfield assistants. For mine both are failing to deliver on a regular basis, and should be moved on at seasons end.
I accept BMac is exceptionally loyal to his off siders, so perhaps the decision needs to be taken out of his hands.
We need significant change/s in the match committee also. Week in and week out they select unbalanced lineups. This needs
to stop, yesterday.
We should never again go into a game with no genuine ruck option to support Wil. If we continue the crap of relieving him with our key
position players he will not last much longer as a viable ruckman, and our structures will continue to be constantly disrupted.
Just look at the weekend's game, the opposition put two genuine ruck options up against him, and ran him into the ground.
Result.. he was far less effective than he can be and was as an AA. Yesterday he was cramping up before three quarter time.

So what do we do for the rest of this season ?
Play Campbell or Cordy as second ruck/FP every week.
Given the significant increase in delivery errors from a great but aging Murph, move him permanently to the front half, where his skills,
guile and experience can general our currently headless [ until Gia comes off the subs bench] front half, and if he fluffs a kick occasionally,
it is less of a problem than in the back half. And he can still be so creative and dangerous.
Concentrate on the training track on polishing delivery by both hand and foot...if the guys aren't fit by mid season, they will not be so
this year.
Players like Wal, Tutt and Rat should only not play if injured, and cloggers like Howard should play out the year in the resis.
We need to work on... moving the ball forward quicker...when both kicking and handballing, hit the ball harder, too many of our disposals
by both hand and foot come off like marshmallows.
Come year's end we need a ready made forward with good hands and kicking skills, and game ready... trade in.
From the draft, a Dangerfield clone, with pace, grunt and ball magnetism.
Then draft a serious key defender who can be ready sooner rather than later.
Finally clean out both the cloggers, and the rookie group, I don't see much future for 3 of the 4 there. Lin J I still have faith in.

12. Western Bulldogs (13)
Put in a gallant effort against Fremantle on Sunday and certainly seem headed in the right direction.
The Dogs had more possessions (414-362), more contested possessions (152-139), more inside 50s (67-41) and more clearances (47-32) than Fremantle. They also had the same number of tackles (74). Their problem, as always, is converting all those wins into goals, kicking 6.15 on Sunday. Jarrad Grant's return may be able to address some of these concerns.

Actually, yes it does. You are not supporting the club, you are detracting from the club.

I think as a club we are doing poorly at the moment. But my response to that isn't to bang on and on and on about who I want sacked, I am looking for the positives. There aren't so many, but there are some.

I've been a member every year for the last 26 and my sons have been members every year since they were born. You can stick your 3-game memberships and go and get a real membership.

Given that I asked to see any example from MattDougie of something that supported the club and you failed to come up with anything other than more personal insults, I rest my case.
