Hello Prince(yes I have upgraded you die to good behaviour)

I have actually enjoyed the time away been able to sit back and read the fantastic "logic" and "intelligence" if the collective and one word comes to mind

WOW!

The vitriol towards those thy don't think Macca is the man is simply astounding, and then those people accuse the antis of hate towards Macca without even seeing the correlation.

Anyway I've already emailed the club notifying the continuation of my 7 memberships for next year, not bad for a troll don't you think ;)
this club is as much ours as it is theirs ... in fact the truth is .... its every ones'. Good to have you back

Has made our club even less desirable to be traded to than Melbourne and stkilda.

Lowest position I think I have ever seen the club and worse by the week
IMO these guys that are being traded to St Kilda and Melbourne are still seeking to get the best deal for their clubs. Melbourne and St Kilda have more to offer than us in that respect.

Unless you are really concerned on missing out on an inferior version of Stringer and Crameri (Membrey) and a KPF cum defender in Jaksch who can't get a game at GWS?

Not sure if this is where I should post this, or if it has already been posted. Looks relevant to the recent conversation in this thread.

Anyone here got a few spare hours up their sleeve might want to apply.

Edit: CV's were due by 5pm today. Too late.
I have no issue with it being on Seek that's an obvious place to put it

Bit concerned a few of the job description points seem to be more involved in others areas ... let's see what happens

Bwahahaha - parody account, surely.

Some people will grasp at anything to push an agenda - Membrey in particular doesn't fulfill a need, and whispers suggest Jaksch isn't being chased for the same reason we didn't nominate Foster in the main draft.

Back to the coach: we took Essendon's 3 x goal kicking winner off them last year as a direct result of B-Mac being at the club.
On balance, we're ahead. We lost Ward and Harbrow before B-Mac took over and they were easily best 22 players - Jones, Higgins & Tutt were all dropped during the year, although on balance Higgins is best 22.

Gaining Higgins but losing Greenwood seems to be a backwards step for North; that's list management but doesn't necessarily mean Scott should be sacked immediately.

So in the 2 weeks I been gone

Jones left(which I told u all would happen in January)
Higgins left(which I told u all in march)
Tutt and Pearce want out
Talia still wants out but club have said no
Senior coach gets half list offside

So I ask a question

IF the board hasn't have resigned Macca for 2 more years would be b coach next year??

No chance in hell

The man is poison and anyone that can't see it is blind IMO

Supporting the club is something we all do, blind faith is for cults not football clubs

Oh you missed one, having let an All Australian full back leave the club we are now chasing a 30 full back from Brisbane, go figure.

Are we ignoring the fact he chucked a hissy fit when we asked him to play forward?

His attitude was appalling and that is the main reason he went. He would have just coasted through if he stayed anyway.

Western Bulldogs president Peter Gordon has denied that coach Brendan McCartney was ever at risk of losing his job or that he was the central figure of the discord that has plagued the Kennel since the end of the season.

The Dogs have endured significant tumult after their underwhelming eight-win 2014 campaign, which has led to a thorough review of the football department amid reports a rift had developed between McCartney and his players.

But Gordon insisted everyone at the club had to take responsibility for the recent dramas at Whitten Oval, and he was not about to "scapegoat" McCartney.

"I certainly had a series of good discussions with management, with coaching staff and with players and they all had good discussions with each other," Gordon said at the unveiling of the Bulldogs' new logo on Tuesday.

"It's wrong to say there was one particular set of relationships [that were strained] with one particular individual player, coach or manager. There was simply a series of issues where we identified that we can get better and we're all part of that process.

"The most important thing to do is to do it honestly, to embrace the struggle - and that's our mantra - that we'll embrace these difficulties, we'll confront them honestly, we'll work on them together and we'll emerge stronger from them."

Gordon insisted the only way his club would progress was if the people within it opted against living in a "culture of blame" and stressed the importance of open and honest dialogue.

"When you have a season where you effectively did no better than the previous season, then, if you're honest with yourself and with your colleagues, your teammates and people that run the club with you, you're going to ask hard questions," Gordon said.

"So we've been through a period where we've asked each other hard questions and we've asked hard questions of ourselves as well.

"I think it's largely been a constructive process and I think you'll find in 2015 we will emerge stronger from it.

"When these things come up, and people have strongly held views, you can take two approaches to it – you can cover it up and tell people to shut up or you can embrace the struggle and you can embrace the difficulties and try and get an honest conversation going and that's what we've done. We've taken a mature approach to it."

Gordon was optimistic that, following the review, everyone at the club had bought into the mantra of "embracing the struggle".
"I'm confident that ... if there are difficulties or problems or concerns that they've got, that we can deal with them constructively and move forward," he said.

Communication was just one of the areas that needed improving at the Bulldogs, according to Gordon.

"I could stand here in front of you today and say everything is fine and all of these things are in their place," Gordon said.

"We are, as a group, dissatisfied with how we went [in 2014] and we all take our responsibility for that, but neither do we want to take some kind of superficial kneejerk reaction to it or scapegoat any particular individual.

"It's the responsibility of all of us, from the president down, to ensure that performance improves and that includes constantly improving communications, skills, abilities, the list, the support networks, all of those things, and that's what we're committed to doing."

So he should have. Fancy asking our best ever fullback to play up forward.
His attitude was fine before 2010, Bmac didn't have a clue how to handle him like he doesn't most senior players.
No qualms letting him go anyway, its the dud deal we got for him.

Gordon has his head up his own backside.

Culture of blame yes right he is one of them to blame.
"Hey, Gordon's talking about opting against a culture of blame. It must be his fault that McCartney's still our coach. Off with his head!"

Delicious.

Of course he is, he was part of team that reappointed him earlier this year preseason for fear he would be poached(the funny bit)
Sacking him now would make him look very silly considering.

Yes its irony alright.
Yes I don't or have never blamed Bmac for being a dud coach, I blame the team that reappointed him for another 2 years
I'm surprised the anti-Macca give Scott West the job sect haven't figured out that you only need to get a whole lot agitating past players and their minions togethor to flood the forums and talk back radio with anti-macca sentiment, then prop up a former player for a board position, take over the board and then sack both Peter Gordon and Macca for the good of the club. Don't you people know anything about coups and perpetuating self-interest?

Really? I clearly remember Lake wanting to play forward when Eade was coaching and Eade was very reluctant.

So who's fault was it for Lake's bad attitude in 2010 and 2011?

Now your rewriting history via omission - lake had a very public falling out with Eade in 2011
He was forced by Eade to play VFL when in his own mind he was injured. He got injured in that game and may have come back for a single other game. During that VFL game, at the risk of sounding like Mattdougie, I was told he would be leaving the club and had enough.

Now it is possible this precipitated the sacking of your beloved Eade but Macca was unable to restore his commitment. We have seen Macca does not tolerate half hearted commitment. But if we are going blame anyone for lakes disenchantment it has to be Eade.
