Yep, Kenny shouldn't be ruled out yet.. he can very easily recover. I hope he's in for this week, could really use him to consolidate the great backline we have had in the past couple of weeks.

Am really looking forward to this weeks match, i hope we attack it with the same assertivness as we have the others.

If so... we could make it get ugly, which would be great.

According to all TV stations tonight Kenny has responded well to early treatment and will play on Saturday. An unchanged side is the tip.

He has been listed as injured with a back injury for the immediate future by the Crows. Doesn't look good for him or for Shcuback.

Is this an opportunity to put them on the long term injury list & upgrade some rookies?

If we managed to win on Saturday night it would be a terrific effort, cetainly not out of our grasp, but the way this season has unfolded, it wouldn't surprise me to have a bit of a let down and drop this one.

I really hope the Crows can stay focussed and win this week.

It would help to keep BulldogMike quiet for quite some time if the Crows did win.

Speaking of BulldogMike, I would have thought we would have heard from him on this thread by now. Perhaps he is not as confident of a win against the Crows as he seemed to be just a few weeks ago.

This is a danger game but one that we really should win.

The Western Bulldogs have a shocking record at Telstra Dome - thay have won only 2 of their last 23 home and away games there. We have won 9 out of our 16 home and away games there, and 7 of our last 11.

the doggies played an incredibly loose style of game against us. eade thought that his players would learn more doing that than trying to tag them. in someways he was conceding a loss, so long as his players showed off their ability and learnt from our players. he almost admitted that in post game interview on radio. he could have flooded but he thought they would loose anyway.

will be interesting to see if he does the same thing against you guys.

in reality we should have won by quite abit more. we were horribly inaccurate especially late. and for once, they were accurate.

i'd back you guys to win, especially if they use the same gameplan.

Subi is about twice the size of TD, so of course we couldn't flood. I think we'd have a better chance of beating you guys at Adelaide than here, we suck at TD.

Absolute crunch game for us.Lose this and we are 1 and 4 so I would expect us to be running through brick walls early.I would expect you guys to start favourites purely on form and a couple of areas that we can match you in.

Clearances will be massive in this game.IMO the crows are in the top 2 or 3 for being able to get the ball out of the centre and if the dogs get smashed in there then it will be hard for them to win. Also fairly likely that Darcy will play forward for quite a bit of the game so alot will fall to Minson to try and force 50-50 contests at ground level.

Our forward line will probably be at its strongest for the year this week because Eade seems to have decided that Darcy and Grant need to play forward.Grant played a half at FF and kicked 4 last week and Darcy gave us alot more presence than what Johnson had been able to provide as a leading FF.

Opportunity - yes. Practical - no.

What purpose would it serve to upgrade them ? Knights and Nye are not likely to be selected for AFL action in the near future, so no real point in upgrading them at this point of time. Perhaps later in the year, if and when they are both playing solid SANFL footy, then the club should probably consider the idea.

He got banned from this board ;) Possible reprimand depending on the result of Saturday Night :D

Very interesting stats there, Fergus. Well researched.

I'm feeling more confident by the minute!! :D

Knights can't be upgraded Sarge - he's already on the main list!! ;)

He just might get a game or two before year end too.

Agree with your comment on Nye.

We have teh best record at Telsta Dome of any non Vic club (56% - 6th best) whereas Bulldogs have the second worst overal at 25% with onyl West Coast having a worse record.

*LOL* Sorry !! I meant Hinge, not Knights. I had a late night !

this is a real danger game for us - and a big test in the sense that we will see if the "big head" syndrome affects our players

assuming Burton & Hart are still out, and McGregor is ok then i would make no changes to the side

in any case i would not play Clarke because (i) i dont believe the 3 ruckmen bit works and (ii) Biglands played well last week and IMO is ahead of Clarke anyway

if McGregor out then either of Bock or M Stevens or S stevens in (although i would like to see Watts but i dont think Craig would pick him yet)

The Western Bulldogs could win a chook raffle at Telstra Doom. I am picking you guiy based on that fact alone.

It is the Great man's 300th but I it would be the first time the CROWs have stuffed up a Bulldog Party!

Good luck. You guys were great against the swans.

Have to get into the A Eagles team and that looks doubtful at the minute macca.

A very fair point, and although I'm a WWT supporter, he might be far better off at a club much lower on the ladder.

However, if he keeps performing in the reserves as he has been, he will force WWT to pick him.

After that of course, anything's possible.

Here's hoping anyway!! ;)

I'd have him at Westies but the way we seem to treat AFL players he probably last a couple of months before he wanted to transfer to Glenelg.

Chris Grants 300th game should inspire the Doggies. Has never won a premiership ever.... 'tis a shame really. ;)

Whoever stands him will need to be playing in front coz I can see him being fed plenty of the ball.

Crows by 5 points after the siren due to a helicopter punt from Perrie :D
