What if South & East Fremantle merged and were allowed access into the VFL in 88!

What if Freo weren't named The Dockers and didn't get the :anchor:

What if I was an Eagles Supporter, would I be blind to the truth that has been swept under the carpets too?

What if "The Agreement" wasnt signed in 2009

What if the umpire had rightfully let play continue in the Cats Saints final, 2010.
*allowing the Mooney tackle
*and the resultant goal to Ling.
*Cats win.
*Cats avoid Pies in a prelim
*GF may have been Cats Pies
*GAJ may have stayed

He landed flat in his back.

You still have your other 3 flags in 5 years to console yourself with!

What if the cats didn't recruit Danger?

Then he doesn't stink up the 2017 QF, maybe they win, maybe they are reigning premiers now?
What if the MRP punished any Richmond player in 2017.
Martin doesn't win Brownlow for the Robertson hit, Cotchin doesn't play GF after the head high bump to Shiel

I always felt Pies deserved to win the 2002 GF tbh. I'd have to watch it again though to be sure. Could have been a biased youngster back then.

Truly was a case of a team of Champions playing a Champion team that game

"you just lost us the game"

Moons, your team's lack of ability to score more than there opponent before that point lost you the game.

What if Kouta didn't do his knee? Would have won the Brownlow by a street. Woewoedin. Seriously?

What if Sos didn't rip his hamstring off the bone. Not saying Blues could have stopped Essendon winning a flag but I reckon they could have had a decent crack.

What if George Harris didn't fall out with the club after the '79 flag? Blues might have done 4 in a row.

What if Neil Balme wasn't such a dirty thug? His kinghit on Geoff Southby was one of the worst things I've ever seen on a football field. The only way Richmond could win that flag was to go the knuckle.

What if Chris Grant didn't have that shot smothered in the dying seconds vs the Crows in the prelim of 1997. The dogs would have played the Saints and we would of had a different winner. Who would have won that game?

What " what if " moments hurt you as a supporter? Injured players, closes losses, losses that could have been avoided or horrendous passages of play that changed the momentum or affected the outcome.

Travis Varcoe this is your life.
Similarly if Isaac Smith didn't miss, every chance Hawks win 4 flags in a row.

We would have had the week off - a chance for some of those fading stars to rest up and have a final crack.

Who would we have got in the prelim if we beat Geelong?
Sydney

Think we would have lost the Grand Final to GWS

Collingwood 2002 would have beaten the next four premiers after them in the grand final with their efforts. A nine-point win over a 13-9 team doesn't exactly flatter Brisbane when you look at numbers but the Magpies were absolutely sensational in the lead-up to the day and were superb on the day. That 2002 win for Brisbane is actually one of the bravest in history I reckon, even though they were strong favourites.

Wouldn't expect you to have any other opinion.
At that stage of the game, and the fact it was a tackle from the side, I'm certain if that had been Roughy making that tackle, you'd have an alternative opinion.

A goal was scored to put them in front; of course 60K Hawks supporters have applauded that decision. So be it, but it's a good addition to this thread nevertheless.
2011 was redemption, no stress.

Nope. If the teams were switched and it wasn't paid and St Kilda kick the winning goal you would be complaining that it was a free kick

Not so. I know a bit about the spirit of the game.
