Maybe it was those white backs on the showdown jumpers that triggered the thought, but I'm getting the impression the footy that Port are playing now looks a lot like the footy we played in the 70 and 80's.

Just wondering if I'm alone in thinking that way.

Seems to be a lot of Kinnear, Porplycia, Bucky, Ebert type play going on.
Maybe that's why everyone enjoys watching us :)

we are single-minded in our approach, ruthless uncompromising attacking footy. the core senior players lead by example as our past greats have done. there wasn't even time to sledge the crows, it was all honing our craft as an unstoppable machine. i think it's demeaning enough to the opposition to have us going gun ho, trying things, taking it on with the best brand of footy, PAFC style and leaving them dazed and confused.
