Otten on familiar turf, Stewart playing his first and its away.
Anyone know if Stewart will be wearing a headband ? I hate those damn things and sure as s**t it will takes 30 pts off his score. Name one bloke that scored well whilst wearing a headband ?
Yepp..clutching at straws deciding between Otten or Stewart.
Will go the home ground and experience. Otten it is.

I have 2 out of Otten, Stewart & Hibberd to field. Otten is a definite and l'm thinking Stewart as the other based purely on him being a mature ager. Is this reason enough though?

Well think the choices this week are pretty standard.

Hampton, Otten, Stewart (Hibberd, Smith)
SPP (Barret, Mountford, Parfitt)
Simpkin, Houstan (Eddy, Pickett)

Guess have to give Simpkin another shot...if he fails he gone for Butler. Pickett stays on the pine where he belongs...another fail and he gets changed to Hannan.

For me this week:

Otten v Stewart v Hibberd at D6

Simpkin v Butler v Eddy at F6
I wouldn't even ponder the question until teams are out.

5/6 of those have the potential to be dropped this week.

Serious question, but can I NOT field any rookies this week? I am very concerned that there is every possibility that one throws up a -ve the way they've gone.

Through DPP shenanigans I can choose to either field SPP or Butler this week.

I'm leaning towards SPP as Ports opposition is worse than last week and Richmond's is better so I'm thinking the scoring will reverse from week 1.

What do people think - is Butler going to strike twice or is SPP the safer choice?

SPP easily

Not sure how it works - will I be able to loophole with:

Stewart, Otten and Hibberd in defense

and

Houston, Hannan and Eddy up front?

Put the E on Otten and Stewart on the field.

If Otten goes well, move Hibberd onto the field in Stewarts place, so you get Ottens score as emergency.

If Otten stinks it up, leave Stewart on the field and hope he out scores Otten.

EDIT: bit harder to do with forwards as Melbourne and port games overlap. Just play Hannan on field as he's a gun
