I was told of the marquee by the guy who gave me the ticket for yesterday. It is a good little bar. The burger I got was pretty good too. Much cheaper than inside the ground and it is we who make the profit from it. I can't remember anyone other than the guy in the bowler hat who walked past me a few times. will definitely be there again.

I was there before and after the game, great little bar. $5 Coopers Pale, Coopers Clear. Coopers Celebration Ale and house wines. $7.50 Coopers Stout, and they also had some pre-mixes there as well, not sure how much they were. I didn't have anything to eat there but I'm pretty sure the burgers were only $5 as well and they looked pretty good. much cheaper than anything at Adelaide Oval and decent beer, better than that Super Dry crap for $8.50 in the ground!

Great photos, a few familiar faces.

My Nan's butcher, a good Port bloke.

Also the unidentified BF poster who was sitting in front of me!

You couldn't have asked Mason to smile? :p

I spent the game in the White Marquee bar with the girlfriend, not a bad little spot, it seems to be a popular spot to hide if you're team isn't looking so flash at half time :) Pity about the big screen though, dodgy delayed reception most of the time and even more dodgy delayed audio thanks to 5AA. A lot of people ended up watching the screens on the stadium itself. I'll have to drop in next time I'm at a game.

Is it true that the white marquee is a port initiative and all profits go back to the club? I've heard they even get the takings from crows matches. If so drink up crowies :p I'm not sure if this is true but I was told this last home game and if true I know we're I'll be having pre and post drinks from now on :)

Not true. Profits go directly to grass roots tennis ;)

Great photos Pete :)

Anyone know if this is happening at the Essendon game?
I don't think it's officially organised, as such. I'll be at the 'Before the Bounce' event, well, before the bounce, but I was planning to head down after the game (if we win) for a drink or two.

Looks like a place where you can actually buy some real food instead of those eight dollar penises in plastic tubing they sell at AO.

Should have gone there after the game instead of wasting money buying an Indian. How much is the beer?

$5 for a Pale Ale on Saturday. Happily surprised, thought they were $5 for the opening in R2 and $6 since.
Na they dropped it back to $5 again. Pre-mix are two for $15 or $10 each. Sausage sizzle $3 and awesome burger $6. The only place to be. We do a quick half time beer/toilet stop there as well. Then stop for a post-game beer to let the bridge crowd subside.
