Dude I don't really care as I sit on the other side of the ground in a reserved seat to avoid this exact situation.
But they've gotten there early enough to claim their seat as after all it is a first in best dressed situation. It's just the way it is. Why should you expect to arrive right on the first bounce and get pole position ??
I hate the situation. Love the fact I have my own reserved seat to come and go when I please.
Hey, if I get there just before the bounce, and I miss out on a good seat, so be it.
But if I turn up with a group of my own, with plenty of time before the first bounce, and the only seats to accommodate all of us are a group of empty seats reserved with cushions, why should my group and I not sit in them?
If some other group wants to reserve seats, why don't THEY pay for reserved seats?
I'm paying for membership, as are some of my mates(others have reserved seats), with the understanding we and others with the same membership don't have reserved seats.
First in best dressed isn't carte blanche to lock up some seats for your self and your group. It's about capacity at the ground. You get there before capacity is reached and you are in.
The sort of people who go around with the belief they are entitled to things are the sort of people who wouldn't show you or I any courtesy or consideration if the roles were reversed. Keep that in mind because the core of this issue is peoples attitudes and behavior.
This is perhaps one of those little things the club needs to address one day if it becomes a problem, or perhaps before it becomes one.
Anyway enough said on the matter. Let's all just turn up and worry about our seats in a few hours time. We've got a game of football to win.
