Its an option. Just drive inland and look for place to stay inland qld somewhere.
Im more anxious about my (tenanted) house / property rather than where i am living. Even tho i am close to beach, the flood maps all show my location should be ok, the layout of house works with central walk in robe and bathroom away from large windows etc.
so yeh the anxiety is around damage to my own home. And if i leave, trying to get back in amongst damage over the weekend.
But yeh its a live option
