Even tho I’m retired I’m not over every thread but now I know. I’m here!

Kallescke, Murray Street - got a few bottles of these. Nice wines.

Bought my yearly allocation of Rockford wines today - BP and Rifle Range.
I've always enjoyed Frugal Farmer

Kirky, how about you list a few other wineries & wines you have enjoyed.

What has been your top 5 wines for 2023... excluding Penfolds?

I like to call it my BBQ wine 😆
I have my BBQ wine for marinating my meat... currently cooking 2 thick porthouse steaks on coals marinated in cleanskins... then will will eat them soon with leftover Coates Syrah from last night.

Ok, now the following four (couldn’t decide on a 5th) and 3 of them are over 15 years old. My general rule is 3 bottles, one for now, one for 5 years and one for 10 years plus. Most of wines are premium on a/c, I only have 20 or so years before I start incontinence and lose my memory (some would say I’m already there).

2020 Hentley Farm The Beast (I’m biased on this and can drink it everyday for the rest of my life’)

2008 Clarendon Hills Astralis
2006 Mollydooker Enchanted Path
2005 Wolf Blass Platinum Barossa Shiraz

Spent half a day with Duane & Bec with a personal tasting & lunch with mates a couple of months ago.

Never tasted a bad wine.
Sangiovese - one of the best I have had
Perfumed Syrah
Gimp Shiraz
Semi Sav

Gimp Shiraz, does that come with an outfit to wear?

shopping

Been drinking this lately, top drop and it will last the whole week, top value.
