Thought I would throw up a thread where we can put down what we wish for during the year. Could be for certain players to get the ass, could be for kids to get game time, could be for a particular type of player we need to pick up at seasons end. Anything that you wish for that will see the once mighty Tigers get back to being a competitive and feared football team.

JON, Riewoldt and Edwards to get game time.

Pick up Kreuzer if he's still available or another ruckman early in the draft.

I want Tuck to be traded (sorry) regardless of form. With the abundance of midfielders Terry has drafted I can't see how he will be better than them. I miss Cogs

He ain't a tagger. If our captain was doing his job correctly, he wouldn't have been playing a tagging role.

Tiva's hardness at the pill has been second to none and his work around the stoppages has been exceptional. He has definitely taken a step up this year in both his intensity and his workrate AND he is one midfielder who is actually starting to kick some goals. But i guess you can't see that with your eyes shut...

Kreuzer is the ruckman for the Northern Knights in the TAC cup. Reputed to be the best ruckman in this years draft.

Return to form of running defenders (J. Bowden, Raines);

Development of a genuine 3rd key forward option (Kingsley – short term, Reiwoldt, Hughes – longer term)

Return of Brown;

Return to fitness and form of Simmonds, & development of Patterson in back-up ruck role;

Continued (and continually improving) form of Foley, Schulz, Krak, Tambling, Deledio etc;

Someone to stand up as a true leader / captain!

Acquisition of a genuine ruck (Kruezer?) & genuine, big bodied, pacy in-&-outside mid in 07 draft (gee, asking a lot there!);

Development / recruitment of a genuine FB (McGuane, Thursty are more skinny 3rd-tall defenders);

Delistment of Hartigan, Jackson, Kingsley (if no further development), and the retirement of Gaspar & Johnson (yes, the captain!).

Retain Hall, Knobel, Moore, McGuane, Krak, etc for depth.

Promising development of our young guns at Coburg (Conners, Meyer, JON, Casserly, White, Hughes, Reiwoldt etc.)

OR

Scrap all of the above, sack / trade some of our ‘stars’, and pay $1 mil + for Judd!

psst if you havent been living on planet earth in the last couple of years. We had 5 of the top 20 picks in one draft and a couple more high draft picks since. So your wish-list has had ample chances to come true.
Yes, time will tell, but the good uns stand out from the word go. The also rans, or we can call them good ordinary players, are given time to develop in the VFL. Its the perpetual tiger pattern. Lets wait for a player to develop into just another servicable player, instaed of leaving no stone unturned and turning over numbers, to find a handful of "star match winners". YOu only need to find 4 or 5 and they wont need to be plugging away at Coburg to learn.

Maybe just maybe TW might actually realise it is something we need. Or did he miss the Dogs mozzie fleet getting hammered in a high pressure final in WA last year. If he plans on going the same route with us we might make the finals but once there will get blown off the park.

Please TW at least look at getting a couple of big KP types at least.
