How untouchable is this bloke. When you made the grand finals all the talk was how eddie 2spoons turned them around and single handedly saved the club. Now they are losing, he has nothing to do with it.!!!!!!!

I like this guy, he makes me laugh at him

I'd rather finish 9th then pike out and go for picks

Sure picks may be nice but so is honour and dignity

Geelong prove you don't need to bottom to become a force

Correct me if I am wrong, but didn't you draft Shane O'bree with the first pick in the PSD the last time you finished last. See your not certain to get a gun with that pick are you?????

Round 1
1. Collingwood - Shane O'Bree (Brisbane)
2. Fremantle - Brad Bootsma (Sth Fremantle)
3. Melbourne - James Cook (Melbourne)
4. Adelaide - James Byrne (Glenelg)
5. St. Kilda - Fred Campbell (Sydney)
6. Hawthorn - Barry Young (Essendon)
7. Sydney - Ben Fixter (NSW/ACT Rams)
8. Port Adelaide - Wade Chapman (Sydney)
9. Western Bulldogs - Andrew Wills (Fremantle)

Round 2
10. Collingwood - Simon Hawking (Sydney)
11. Melbourne - Stephen Pitt (Norwood)
12. Adelaide - Andrew Crowell (Woodville West-Torrens)
13. St Kilda - Damian Monkhorst (Colllingwood)

Round 3
14. Melbourne - Simon Godfrey (Melb Supp list)
15. St. Kilda - Sean Charles (Woorineen)

Who do you suggest we should have picked?

It is a luck of the draw about who is coming out of contract and cannot find a club. You can get a Nick Stevens or a Shane Harvey. O'Bree at that stage was a reasonable get, as his 2000 and 2001 seasons were excellent.

Even some of the young guys who would be pressing for a game are injured, like Tom Davidson, Brayden Shaw, Adam Iacobucci and Zane Leonard..

Iacobucci isnt injured !!!!!

Lack of fitness is an injury to me. He's physically unable to play. His fitness has been down since his interrupted pre-season.

Seemed to have a bit of hammy last time he played too. Not necessarily a pull, but tightness

I looked up mediocre in the dictionary and came accross this very same list. :)

I would prefer to finish last if I thought our team who finished 9th had old players waiting to retire...

Did the Saints loose honour and dignity when they where getting 1st round picks? If they did at the time its forgotten now
On Geelong they are preety good at picking up the order but if you watched Talking Footy one night last year it showed how nearly half the team came from the 2001 draft,I dont know if it was great picking or a really good draft

I think Shane O'Bree is playing quite well this year he has been given a bit of rein and getting back to his form of a couple of years ago. Dont write him off.
