After watching last night's game, I have come up with an idea regarding LBW. If you are hit on the pads you are automatically given out and then it's up to you to challenge it if you think it's missing the stumps.

For me it's more the devil you know. India already won a recent WC, so them winning again would be tolerable. Whereas England have never won one and I'd love to see that continue, especially with them being the home team and clear favourites.

As for South Africa, I'm not even sure why they bother coming to World Cups.
You present a compelling argument.

It's what made Hawthorn's 3-peat bearable. Don't really like them but they've already bloody done it now so meh.

It would be an improvement over what is the current rule where an umpire makes what might be a right or wrong call and it's up to the aggrieved team to challenge.

If the technology is in place to determine out or not out, then an even better option is to use it for every decision.

Or at least stop bowling rubbish ...
Yep. If Starc and Cummins don't get early wickets our bowlers are gettable. I don't rate Coulter-Niles bowling, Stoinis is a part timer and Zampa has bowled too many half trackers in the 1st couple of games. Jhye Richardson dislocating his shoulder has hurt us, he is a gun.

Agree. When he went down a few weeks ago, I had that sinking feeling that we might struggle in the WC.

Based on a small sample, the squad does look one quality quick bowler down. I think I would have gambled on Hazlewood.
Will be interesting to see what they do... Unfortunately our batting looks a touch weak without NCN. I'm very surprised Turner isn't in the squad.

Maybe Behrendorf can step up - he would have been a handful on the last pitch we played on.

Yeah, think Behrendorff is with a shot. Only problem is he's a lefty and a new ball bowler. Do you open with him and Starc, or are they too similar?

Great atmosphere here. It’s so real.
Totally outnumbered by the “boys in blue.”
I’m on the red eye on Sat night to get to BloodStone Arena by Sun afternoon to take on The Filth.
I’m calling it now - if you guys beat GWS, you’ll play finals in September. And that would be a fairytale right there and then.
